Takahashi (高橋和希) started as a mangaka in 1982. His first work was Tokiō no Tsuma (闘輝王の鷹), published in 1990. One of his earliest works was Tennenshokudanji Buray (天然色男児BURAY), which lasted for two volumes and was published from 1991 to 1992. Takahashi did not find success until 1996 when he created Yu-Gi-Oh!
Millennium World is an insane and amazing sub - series in the Yu-Gi-Oh manga series and I am loving the ancient Egypt scenes.
Wait so is it Bakura's soul in the millennium ring or is it Zorc's? I am confused. I feel like this duel between Yugi and Bakura will be an intense one.
Seto's dad wanting to give him evil power too is insane. Just because he wants the power doesn't mean Seto wants it. This Seto is kinda smarter than future Kaiba lol.
Atem, the Pharoah's name is Atem, I was expecting something cooler or more dramatic lol. The modern world and the memory world seem to be colliding. The three god cards fusioning together and creating The Creator God of Light Horakhty is one of my favorite parts, that monster must be hecking powerful.
Now I am onto the final book of the series, Yay.

Annnd here we go! The end is near in volume 6 of Millennium World; Yugi and his friends make themselves useful and actually discover the Pharaoh's true name after defeating Bakura in a duel. The Pharaoh though is facing his own issues with Zorc Necrophades. Seto is saved from being possessed from the spirit of the Blue Eyes White Dragon and the other High Priests plus the Dark Magician girl band together to try to take down this evil god, however it's not enough. It's not until he learns his name is Atem that the Pharaoh is able to fuse all three Egyptian Gods together into the Guardian of Light. Very much a transitional volume, it began to wrap up the plot lines in preparation for the final volume.
The second to last volume is a traditional Yu-Gi-Oh book, even having cards games and a usefull main cast but lacking the punch the previous volumes had.
This is by all means an allright book. There is nothing wrong with it. Highlighys include a feeling of sweet yet horrific revenge when the cast gets rid of one of the villains.
The story just isn't told with the same amount of suspense, gravitas and horror as the previous volumes, which makes this otherwise fine book feel all right.
While there are clumsy parts of the book, the art comes in an saves the day. One of these is when the Fareos name gets revealed. The led up is cute yet akward, but the reveal itself is powerful.
All in all, classic early duelist era Yu-Gi-Oh, got intentions badly told yet sold because of the art.
The penultimate volume to the original Yu-Gi-Oh run is here. The Pharaoh's true name will be revealed as he and Yami Bakura continue their evil shadow game of an RPG. With Yugi and co. trapped within this game world; their lives at stake. Yugi engages in a thrilling duel with Yami Bakura for the true name of the Pharaoh, the last thing that can save them all. He uses his own deck we haven't seen before while Bakura too has new cards up his sleeve. This is genuinely an exciting duel and the second to last one in the series. The battle in ancient Egypt memory world also ramps up; with all sorts of awesome summons and strategies as Zorc razes the world. Some of the most gorgeous two page spreads drawn by Takahashi are in this volume. I am so thankful he gave it his all.
Nada.
