Shane has very real problems. Sophia has an unhealthy desire to save people. The two former city dwellers wind up in the same small town, one by choice and the other by necessity. Both introverts, both outsiders, they’re swept into one another’s orbit until they can’t even touch the ground – but falling in love can't fix everything.
3.5 -- I felt this story was easy to read and engaging. Unfortunately, I felt like the relationship between the two main characters could've been more to highlight how unhealthy and codependent they were on one another. The author hit on this somewhat at the end, but I wish it was more. I enjoyed the read, but just wish I could see more depth.
