Presented here in Large Print, this collection of exciting and action-packed tales, by one of America’s greatest writers, is based on real, true-life experiences. Written years before “Jaws,” these stories capture the total horror of men dealing with the most savage creature on earth - the relentless, voracious killer of the deep, the SHARK.
Pearl Zane Grey was an American author best known for his popular adventure novels and stories that presented an idealized image of the rugged Old West. As of June 2007, the Internet Movie Database credits Grey with 110 films, one TV episode, and a series, Dick Powell's Zane Grey Theater based loosely on his novels and short stories.
An ode to fishing. I didn’t really know what to expect when I picked this up but I didn’t realize it would be nonfiction accounts of Grey’s time on the sea and his battle with fish. He claims Hemingway’s Old Man and the Sea was based on him which I found interesting. I love reading and learning about new things even if it did take some time.
