Just what I was looking for. I didn't think I would find anything but criticism regarding diving alone, but now I feel less alone in my "devious" plans. A wonderful book filled with suggestions, contraindications, equipment recommendations and testimony from well-known divers. I was very excited to find this and the SDI/TDI Solo Diver course!

This is the one that recommends not diving deeper than twice the depth you can handle free diving. It also mentions the Spare Air is only good for dives up to 80 feet. Lots of good thoughts about the fact that you really are a solo diver pretty often, even in group situations. Lots of good advice about how to become as self sufficient as possible.
