The smartest superheroes in town are back with two more fact-filled adventures. Using their brains and superhero brawn, Captain Fact and Knowledge face everything from legions of angry bugs to homesick dinosaurs. With pages full of comic line art and info-loaded Fact Attacks, CAPTAIN FACT allows readers to learn through fun, adventure-filled stories. In ancient Egypt, an archaeologist has been entombed in a pharaoh's pyramid. It looks as though Captain Fact and Knowledge will have to learn to walk like Egyptians With the help of a time machine, the superheroes travel to Egypt and sidestep an unhappy sphinx and some mean mummies to unearth the archaeologist.
This is an entertaining graphic novel story with humorous characters and a semi-educational plot. The fact attacks are interesting and while I didn't learn a lot reading this book, it was a good way to blend a superhero story with historical information about the ancient Egyptians.
We each read this book independently and enjoyed it. It's the fourth book in the Captain Fact graphic novel series by Knife and Packer, and unfortunately, we can't get the last book in the series, Captain Fact's Human Body Adventure.
