This is a good book that serves to give beginner information to the average lay member of the church. The inclusion of some historical information is helpful and interesting, especially in the stuff that is specific to the Lutheran Church. I do think some of the opinions are fairly strong, but still presented with an attempt to show the other side. I do think it is helpful for the uninitiated, but I really wanted more.
