Snowed in With Santa
Will Jared's dark desires scare the inexperienced Alana away?
Alana has no choice but to accept the seasonal job as an elf in the local mall, not unless she wants to lose her apartment. Looking for a little holiday cheer? Do you have the song stuck in your head, “Here comes Santa Claus; here comes Santa Claus…”? Alana is this person who needs some holiday cheer. She’s a recent college graduate who’s job opportunities didn’t pan out as she hoped. She did complete college a semester early, in December. This would have been fine had she not been a teacher and in the Northern Hemisphere. As we all know, teachers start work in the late summer for US schools. Like many other teachers, Alana picks up a job in retail during the Christmas season.
Unfortunately, Alana is dressed up like an elf to be Santa’s little helper, not working as a cashier for one of the many stores at the mall. Personally, I’d rather be an elf. It’s more fun, especially when the costumed Santa is a hunky man. Jared dresses up as Santa to help out. He is the more experienced man who is fantasizing naughty positions with “south pole” and a cute little elf.
This story is very short and what I would consider SugarKink. Since it’s a holiday feel good story, it is sweet and fun. Alana enjoys a smexy time with an experienced kinky older man. He’s also smart and successful, what more would a new college graduate want for a winter fling? The BDSM elements are rather light, hence the SugarKink designation. Still, they do generate a spark of heat. I recommend this book for Christmas lovers who want their stocking stuffed with a little bit more than a regular candy cane.

This started out with a good premise and a lot of potential, but unfortunately, the ending was rushed and got fairly ridiculous. Santa is a secret dom looking for a tushy to spank. Alana drives through a snow storm to a stranger's house, gets snowed in, and discovers the joys of submission. Merrrrrrry Christmas! Hee heee....just kidding.
Grade: C+

THOUGHTS
I enjoyed this story, but with the beginning, the story was very detailed for a novella and took a bit of time until the climax of the story. However, I think the author was building up to the moment for Jared and Alana. Beneath Jared’s Santa outfit was a chiseled sexy businessman, and I liked that. Alana may come off a bit naïve, but it mesh well with Jared’s character. After getting to know each other at work Alana ended up in a bit of trouble and was snowed in with Jared, where there night was steamy and Jared fulfill his long awaited fantasy.

I loved this book and the two main characters of Jared & Alana. There's an instant attraction after their first meeting and they build a nice friendship while working at the mall during the holiday season. Jared is afraid that he will scare off Alana if he shows her what he likes in the bedroom. The sex scenes in this book was smoking hot and so much fun to read. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Another great 18 and over Christmas read. A hot Viking type God dressed as Santa captures the attention of one of his sexy elves. :D clearly this guys ex wife was insane to give him up, really she doesn't like to be spanked and tied to the bed by a male who looks like a God, stupid woman. I have been a naughty girl hehe :D come spank me Santa haha :D Great story :) I hope you make more for this wild couple :D

Well this was a cute story. I can honestly say though, I was listening to it on my Kindle and it went from the story to an advertisement for another book and I did a double take. I wasn't expecting it to end so suddenly. It was sweet and naughty, just what you'd expect from a erotic tale, but it bothered me that it just ended.
It was very sweetly written though but rather predictable. I guess it was supposed to be, again, an erotic novella. I'm eager to read more from Sue Lyndon!

The idea is great. I kept waiting for the two to get locked in somewhere. My anticipation was high. The end seemed rushed to me. I was expecting a more in depth ending because of the story development in the beginning.
I liked how Jared just jumped right on in with the kink with Alana. It was like he wasn't going to give her a chance to fall for anyone other than who he really was.

This was nice. Just too short! I would have loved a bit more of these two sweet characters and I can't really rate any higher than 3 stars because there just wasn't enough content..
Definitely needed more scenes together and another sex scene or two.

BDSM isn't always my thing, but I really enjoyed this story. It was well-written, hot and a lot of fun to read! Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to read a sexy holiday story. Can't wait to see what this author comes out with next!
