This book is full of history about Greenwich Village, its landmarks, and its inhabitants. It's much lighter on details about ghosts and hauntings, however, and much of what is in there is in the form of fictionalized vignettes. There are some useful appendices in the back, for those who want to do their own ghost tour in the region. (B)
