All The Groom's Men #3

Bringing Home a Bachelor

Rate this book
In the kitchen, pastry chef Melinda Edgeworth creates pure magic. Too bad that magic doesn't translate into her personal life. And that has never been more obvious than at her brother's wedding. Lucky for her, one very eligible groomsman, Pete Dale, has her in his sights. The sizzle between them is almost too intense and Melinda walks away with a definite smile on her face.

But their one night won't stay that way. Because suddenly they're working together at Pete's hotel. All that chemistry is interfering with their jobs. Maybe the only way to fix this is to get this attraction out of their systems. And never has a solution been so delicious!

Karen Kendall is the author of many disasters and nine romantic comedies. She grew up in Austin, Texas, and credits her early interest in writing to several teachers and her mother, a professor of comparative literature.

A graduate of Smith College, Karen studied the mysteries of modern and contemporary art before enrolling in a masters program in Museum Education, with the aim of teaching children about art. She worked for several museums and galleries before following her lifelong dream and completing a novel.

Karen is still a big fan of children's art, but she now writes full time and lives in Florida with her husband, Don, and attack-cat Boo, who turns up her nose at chicken and fish but adores asparagus and mint-chocolate-chip ice cream.

I love this series. I didn't like the first book as much as I like these last two but still, they're funny and entertaining to read. I love the characters in this book and I could relate to the female character because of her weight issues and her insecurities...

The love story was realistic and I had some genuine LOL moments. I hope there is another book coming and I must find some more books by Karen Kendall.

Misunderstandings and a man pulled in too many directions.Pete has to boost Mel's self confidence from the beating down handed out be her family for years. He is being pressured by Mel's mother and his boss to coerce Mel into what they want.
A fun read with more enjoyable characters, I liked this one the best out of the three in the series.
