The book cover and the story plot has a very erotic touch and so many sexual desires based on BDSM. I give the erotic book 5 stars.

My Thoughts: *fans self* “Wow” is tame considering what I was thinking. Ann Mayburn, you Naughty Author! The description says it all, so without giving to much away, Shyla has lusted after her bosses and is now ready to explore that side of herself. The bosses, Trent and Jack, have wanted her for their sub for some time, but held back because she was taken and they weren’t sure she‘d be game. Now that she is no holds bar, they plan to show her so much pleasure, she will never want to be without them. This is a short read, but it’s an incredibly steamy, make you gasp, cross and uncross your legs read. I started wishing I was Shyla, exploring the world of BDSM. Oh what a good sub I would make for doms like Trent and Jack. They can tie me up and serve me on a Christmas platter if they want. You will read this in one sitting, but the whole time you will be biting your lip while your fantasies take you away, at least I did. Please master, may I have another.

Holy hubba-hubba!
Just when I thought Ann couldn’t take me to another level of hot. She gives me Shyla, Trent, and Jack in one of the hottest ménage books I have ever read! For the love of Pete I was drooling all over my kindle. I honestly didn’t think I could go over any more edges with Ann, but alas, I was so wrong, so very very wrong.
I decided to take a seat and open it up. I had a day of down time and saw BDSM and went. “It is cold outside, we have the fireplace on. Perhaps this will make me toasty inside.” Ok, I think I burned up, melted on the floor, and had to be mopped up.
It wasn’t just the sexy sequences. Ann is able to write such an interesting story and gives us characters that we like in such a small amount of word count. It is just spread out on the table and makes you lick your lips, giggle a few times, and she follows the rules with BDSM. She doesn’t make it up, she doesn’t just wing it. She actually gives us true to life terms, events, and stuff that would actually happen. They don’t push Shyla too far. I love that about this book, I mean granted they do nudge at her. I’m sure if she hadn’t worked for them for as long as she had, she would have been calling yellow. I believed in her trust and that made the story so much more hot and believable for me.

This was my first Ann Mayburn story. I bought the book just for the cover alone, it is muy caliente (very hot). The story was good enough to help me wind down for the night. The book is about a waitress in a BDSM club who wants to persue her submissive side with the owner's of the club.
Shyla is a woman that knows she needs more sexually, but is scared about asking for what she wants. Jack and Trent are the owners of the club that Shyla works at, but are reluctant to persue her because she is their employee. Trent and Jack throw a Christmas party at their home and Shyla goes with her friends in the hopes of being able to change her circumstances.
Ms. Mayburn turned out a good scene considering that the book was only 40 pages. The depth of the characters were enough to keep me engaged with the story, but not enough for me to care about them after the story has ended. It was just, enough.

Not the best menage story I've ever read, but far from the worst. Although the two Heroes are Doms, this was not a full on BDSM tale. There was some light bondage and a few "firm" commands, but otherwise this was just a contemporary holiday menage story. The sex was decent, but Trent and his piercings (I'll leave exactly what was pierced up to your imagination ;)) took center stage here. He and those piercings took hot to a whole new level!!
This was just enough to make me appreciate how Ms. Mayburn's mind works and put her on my list of authors to look out for.

Peppermint Passion is a quick trip to the wild side for some fun at Christmas time along with actual peppermint oil. Ann adds a warning in the front of the story about using peppermint oil, so don't go out and try this without researching it first please. It sounds like you might have some explaining to do if you use it wrong.Shyla has worked as a waitress for a BDSM club while lusting after her bosses. With only another few months until she has her degree and newly single, she decides to go to the company Christmas party and walk on the wild side. Scared, but excited she makes her way into the submissive auction for charity and her bosses are going to make their move.
Trent and Jack have wanted Shyla since the first interview. Making any excuse to touch her, protect her, but also wait until she is out of college to make their move. When Shyla shows up to the company Christmas party, all bets are off and they are going to make her theirs.
The two bid and win Shyla and her every desires is going to be met and they will never let her go. While this is fairly short, the characters have a history and marriage with babies isn't talked about. They have their night, making Shyla their submissive. Afterwards, they decide they are keeping her and they have to convince her.
There isn't any drama, it all falls into place fairly easily for a quick and fun Afternoon Delight.
Today I am sharing a recipe I made a few years back for gifts:
Peppermint Bark
8 ounces high-quality semisweet chocolate, broken into pieces
8 ounces high-quality white chocolate, broken into pieces
2 teaspoons canola oil, divided
25 peppermint candies, crushed
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract, divided
Lightly grease a 9x9 inch pan and line with waxed paper, smoothing out wrinkles; set aside.
Place the semisweet chocolate and 1 teaspoon of the canola oil in the top of a double boiler over just barely simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching.
When the chocolate is melted, stir in 1/4 teaspoon of the peppermint extract. Pour the melted chocolate into the prepared pan, and spread evenly over the bottom of the pan.
Sprinkle half of the crushed peppermints over the chocolate layer. Refrigerate until completely hardened, about 1 hour.
Place the white chocolate and the remaining 1 teaspoon canola oil in the top of a double boiler over just barely simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching.
When the chocolate is melted, stir in the remaining 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract. Pour the white chocolate directly over the semisweet chocolate layer; spread evenly.
Sprinkle the remaining crushed candy over the top and gently press in.
Refrigerate until completely hardened.
Remove from pan; break into small pieces to serve.

I really enjoyed Peppermint Passion by Ann Mayburn. I loved the Shyla was willing to put it all on the line for something she wanted. She had waited long enough for the men she wanted and it was time to cut bait if they didn’t want her. I love the courage it took to step outside her comfort zone and become a part of a submission auction especially as she was unsure of the rules. She put herself out there and was pleasantly surprised by what she caught.
I found myself equally smitten with Trent and Jack. They were friends, business partners and the men in love with Shyla. They had made a determination to leave her be until graduation. The only problem is they forgot to let Shyla know. In the attempt to give her time to grow they had given her the idea they didn’t want her. I loved how take charge these men became once they knew they had a problem. Ms. Mayburn showed a clear cut problem and allowed for a resolution that fit the story and the characters.
I enjoyed reading a strong female character that fought for what she wanted without losing her femininity. Trent and Jack were equally strong but were able to bend and admit when they had screwed up. I believed in the chemistry between these characters as well as their budding relationship. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Wow, I want a peppermint lovers too. Sometimes love is truly blind, I'm sure here Shayla was infatuated with both Trent and Jack. Unfortunately, she didn't notice how much they were infatuated with her too. Everyone saw what she didn't, her best friend even tried to tell her. Of course in her true self denial always won. Thank goodness the Christmas party finally cleared up all the mishaps and Shayla was able to experience pure bliss with her Masters. Most of all I love the little warning, I was truly needed.

What an amazing book! I'm a Michigan girl myself, so I could honestly connect with how cold it was, then how the characters are described made it feel as if they could step off the page and into my living room. Super sexy, quick, fun read with a MMF relationship. Needed a short erotic read for an afternoon and Peppermint Passion filled the bill perfectly. Quick holiday theme story. Story itself was cute.Didn't really feel any tension elements that make my heart race or twist/turn story line aspects. The three all know they know they want each other. It's just the book that sets up the circumstances under which they do.

This is a VERY short read. You meet the characters, they have sex and it's over. That's it. It's fine for a short lunch read, but the characters could have been developed more and more of a story actually told.
