Welcome to the big leagues. To secrets and scandals. It's all about the game. Who's playing. Who's not. Who has no idea about the game. And...wait, what game are we playing? I'll leave that for you to decide. Where to start is the big question for Chloe Baker. How was she supposed to explain to Zack Warren that she started a fan club for him when she was a kid? It was just a game. A way to make friends and have fun. She never thought it would spiral out of control. And never. In a million, gazillion years, did she think it would follow her to college. How could she tell him her best friend Lana kept the club alive? That she had nothing to do with the craziness? Chloe didn’t understand why she cared so much about Zack's opinion of her. She hated him. He hated her. They had very mutual feelings of dislike for each other. So he'd just hate her even more when or if he found out. And that's totally fine...she thinks. Zack Warren had a soft spot for Chloe Baker. He likes the way she walks. He likes the way she talks. If he was poetically inclined, he’d write a sonnet about her ass. It's Zack’s junior year of college. He’s got things to worry about. Scouts from the major leagues. Baseball games. Contracts. Grades.... His father ran away to Vegas with Chloe's mother. He didn’t have time to worry about a girl. But he did. He worried about Chloe a lot, especially with that jerk Max sniffing around her. It's weird though, to like your stepsister, right? But Zack could argue that he saw Chloe first. Way before his dad met her mom. He was too young to stake a claim. But just didn’t care anymore. He’s done playing games.
I'm J.C. Isabella, and I love to write. I've been writing for about ten years now. Mostly it was just for fun, for me. But my friends liked my work, so I decided to self publish. I hope you enjoy the rest of my site, and the books I have written.
The reason I chose to write romance, is because I love a happy ending. In YA there are so many lessons to be learned, so many firsts to be had. Why not write about first kisses, first crushes, or trying to explain to your father you were bitten by your boyfriend, who happens to be a werewolf?
One thing I will always promise in my books is a happy ending. I've always hated getting to the end of a really great novel, and feeling let down because it didn't end the way I thought it should. So about ten years ago, I decided to write a book. I remember it was about these kids who hijack a boat to find buried treasure in Mexico....
Needless to say, my writing has come a long way since my teen years, and I know I have room to improve, but I feel guilty having these books sitting in my computer, with no one to read them. So I'm putting them out for the world to see!
I try not to take myself too seriously. I'm not an editor, nor am I a total wiz when it comes to grammar or language. I try my darndest though, and I hope to give people an enjoyable read that is nice a break from reality.
I put a lot of work into what I do, and I appreciate people reading my work. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
UGH! I'm going to try not to yell but... Ok, so, I think this book started out alright. It had all the makings of a cute light read, but then things got confusing. Chloe and Zack are long-time enemies, and then all of a sudden, and without much warning they're stepbrother and sister! They don't mention this until they have to move into together with their parents. You'd think something like that would come up when you're constantly talking about each other. And then the book gets worse, because for some reason Zack has to be mean to Chloe. Why? Because his mom died and he doesn't want to get close to people. Not the most original piece of writing in the world, but it works, right? WRONG! Zack has been mean to her since they first meet, preschool or something, and his mother died when he was in Middle school! How does that make sense? So, ok I said maybe I can look past this and went on. But then Zack starts talking about his rebellious faze. Your mind thinks: Drugs and violence. But all you get is that he pulled a fire alarm. OMG HE PULLED A FIRE ALARM THIS KID SHOULD BE LOCKED AWAY FOR LIFE!!! Granted, he was in middle school, but the way he described it sounded like he had killed orphaned bunnies for fun! The exact line was:
I pulled a fire alarm to get out of a math test. Chloe happened to stumble across me in the hallway. The look she gave me, full of shock and disappointment, stopped me dead in my tracks. “Zack, why are you doing this?” she’d asked. “What happened to you?” I stared at her, unable to answer. Why was I doing it? I took a long look at myself and realized I didn’t know who I was anymore.
WHAT?! YOU PULLED THE ALARM AND NOW YOU DON’T KNOW WHO YOU ARE?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Then later on, at a very convenient time, he added that he fought a lot too, but it was so forced. That’s another thing I hated. EVERY THING WAS SO FORCED! The conversation about the gay boy in the beginning, the time they discussed Chloe’s eating habits, Zach being a good guy, and every conversation in the book! EVERYTHING WAS SO PC! WHERE'S THE INTERESTING STUFF?! WHERE'S THE CONTROVERSY! I WANT SOME OF THAT! Add to that the fact that every cliché ever made up EVER was in here and you have a recipe for disaster.
Things were talked about and then forgotten and then talked about again. It was like they were saying: I like you. Will you be my girlfriend? (Small fight) I want to give us a shot, lets be in a relationship . UGH! And the mistakes… I'm not good with spelling and I usually don’t pay attention to this stuff, but when you replace straight with strait, it’s a little hard to ignore. I mean, at one point of course was: of coarse. WHO EDITED THIS BOOK!?
And don’t even get me started on Chloe. She was a complete bitch. I'm not even going to feel bad for saying that, because she is. Any girl that wasn’t her friend or her mother she called a bimbo or an airhead. If you’re as sweet as Zach claims you are then you wouldn’t do that. And when she and Zach we’re in the diner and she called that poor woman fat, I threw the book at my sister (she was just in my way). Why would you call her that? Did you do it as an excuse to point out that you are perfect? She could be sick and that’s the reason she’s like that. She could have a horrible life and food makes her feel better. Heck, she could even LIKE being like that. WHY IS IT YOUR BUSINESS? Just because she doesn’t look like you doesn’t mean she’s wrong. Plus, Chloe, YOU'RE the airhead. WHY WOULD YOU GET INTO A CAR WITH A BOY WHO GIVES YOU THE CREEPS AND CORNERED YOU IN A BATHROOM? YOU ARE SUCH AN ATTENTION WHORE! AND YOU DON'T HAVE AN OVERACTIVE IMAGINATION! J.K. ROWLING HAS ONE BUT CHLOE HAS AN UNDER-ACTIVE IMAGINATION AT MOST. AND IF THE SWEETEST THING ANYONE HAS EVER DONE FOR YOU IS TUCK YOU INTO BED THEN YOUR CHILDHOOD WAS REALLY SAD AND I'M SORRY FOR THAT. I HAVE SO MUCH MORE TO SAY BUT I’M GOING TO STOP HERE. I’m sorry I yelled, but take it from me this book is yell-worthy.
In other words, he's so damn sexy! I can feel his sexiness through the words written on the book.
BUT, there are SO MANY grammar mistakes and typos. It's confusing the hell out of me. For example, there are plenty of were. I thought it was past tense from are, turned out it's supposed to be We're. How annoying. There are plenty typos and mistakes, i didn't count it but i guess it's more than 40 typos there. Ugh.
About the whole story, you can read it from the blurb. It was quite good, and so damn romantic! It's sweet and made me swoon! I really really really liked it! ***
3.5 stars - This was a really cute book. It made me smile, it made me grin like a fool, and it made me laugh. The dialogue was great from the "hateful" banter and the cheesy jokes to the romantic scenes.
However, there were a few things that kept me from giving it the full five stars. One, for a rather short book, I felt Isabella kind of lost of path in more times than once when she tried a little too hard to be dramatic and incorporated too many elements into this book. I mean in addition to the fan club, there was the ghosts, foreboding storms, being afraid of the dark and being locked in attic, a deadbeat dad, best friend drama, a crazed stalker... I found myself groaning whenever Isabella introduced another obstacle and strayed from the path. I think she should have kept it simple.
And one of those was the whole being step-brother and step-sister thing. Isabella had them attending college, so it wasn't like she couldn't find an excuse for them to be around each other all the time, possibly even living together. I know they're not blood related, but I felt the whole stepbrother-stepsister thing was unnecessary and really awkward. And the thing was Isabella left no solution to that by the end of the book - like they hadn't told their parents. You're left wondering what's going to happen there. I think the story and dialogue would have been just as great without it.
Still, I felt it was a pretty good book, and I found myself really, really liking it.
P.S. Normally, typos don't bothering me, but there was an awful lot in this book. And this book needs a better editor because "straight" was spelled "strait" throughout the whole entire book.
As I was reading, I kept exclaiming one thing: "Is this book for real?!"
For one thing, it was full of mistakes. MISTAKES EVERYWHERE, WHAT! Seriously, you want to publish a book, at least find a good editor who knows the different between 'loose' and 'lose', or 'straight' and 'strait', 'compliment' and 'complement'!
It's such a shove-my-morals-in-your-face kind of book.
I try to star with the pros of a novel but I'm finding it hard in this case. There was nothing truly exemplary about this novel, nothing that set it apart from other novels written in the same genre. Girl likes boy but pretends to hate him, boy like girls but pretends to hate him, then their parents marry oh no! Girl gets threatened by another guy, boy pretends to be boyfriend, then they admit they really liked each other all along. Boy finds out about club girl made in 5th grade, boy throws hissy fit, I think you can figure out the ending.
Now my main concerns- the writing lacked finesse: they used basic level words, bad grammar and it honestly felt like a high-school student wrote the novel for a class project. Next, the author can not write male point-of-view to save her life. It was obvious a female author was trying to write a male character and failed, I grew up with four brothers all of them different and not one of them would say half the shit Zach thought, and he really didn't pull off good guy, bad past, troubled emotionally. My next flaw is the biggest- The greatest flaw of this novel is that it is BORING! I mean there was nothing I found interesting or relatable. The characters were boring, the plot line was boring, hell even the villain was boring! There was very little drama and when there was it had a telenovela (spanish soap-opera) feeling to it; it was big outlandish and for no apparent reason. Finally none of the characters were flawed, Chloe was a sweet, smart, outspoken woman and Zach was a considerate, kind, protective guy. They were boring flawless characters.
Do I recommend this book? NO because you will be bored to death, and I hate to see any unsuspecting readers have that fate. You want troubled flawed characters that are step-siblings done right try a midsummer's nightmare by Kody Keplinger. I liked that one, I won't say it's 5 stars but the book is one of the best ones if you're looking for what is stated above!
2,5 NOT THAT YOUNG.. to be afraid to kiss.. Too childish.. Underdeveloped, not easily believable and complete lack of editing.. Although if you want a clean YA book that's the book for you, it doesn't get cleanier.. believe me..
The hero is a 21 year old reformed bad boy.. Yeah the worst thing he did was to activate a fire alarm when 14 but let it slide for now.. He is a virgin but also the sexiest and most wanted boy at college.. Yeah.. ok. you get the picture. The heroine is a nice girl that thinks she is tought and is in love with the formaly bad boy since she was eleven.. The boy is also totaly rational, has the best behaviour ever, no crazy tantrums, no slutiness, oh and he is kind of a secret ninja.. And i'm not kidding!! Great for a rehab session after too many real books!
♥♥OMG THIS BOOK WAS A AMAZING!!!! I reckon it is one of my top 2(...Probably number 1#) books of altime (And I've read A LOT of books)I was so funny, smart and romantic. I laughed so hard at some points in it. J.C Isabella is a Genius ♥!! Seriously! ♥♥ I abolutely fell in love with this book! It was so cheap $0.99 on my kindle, I would never have sold it that cheap. ♥So for all you teens out there I say you have to read this masterpiece ☺ ( I would rate it 100 stars if I could ♥)
This book had its cute moments but the thing about being step-siblings kind of threw me off. Yeah, yeah, they're not related but the fact that they was a little icky. And the sheer number of typos in this book was very distracting. Oprah even became Opera! It was like spell check gone rogue.
*****
Opening line:
Under the fragrant limbs of a magnolia tree an unofficial meeting was held.
Fave line:
Zack: "Oh Chloe, dear Chloe, I love it when you are near. My heart goes pitter patter and it makes me feel..." Chloe: "Queer?"
3.5 stars - Ok, where do I even start? First, the grammar was atrocious. Apostrophes for plurals, misplaced commas, and incorrect homophone usage. I'm shuddering now just at the memory. And then there's the whole "hey, we're step siblings but we have the hots for each other" thing. But I still liked it. There were really good parts and other strange and awkward parts. I don't even know what I think. I'm very conflicted and confused. :)
No really, this book was kind of so/so. I think it was because I felt like both Zack and Chloe’s characters felt very young to be in college. The story repeated itself over and over - I mean they established their relationship twice. And even when it is clear based on other people’s behavior how they feel about something - both characters just don’t get a clue, constantly acting oblivious confused about what was happening.
I’m only mildly interested in reading the next book.
After reading The Unofficial Story of Kyle B. Johnston a couple weeks ago, I stuck this one on my TBR list. Chloe and Zack were so cute in that book and I was dying to read their story. Chloe's and Zack's story is just as cute, funny, and lighthearted as Kyle's and Emma's.
The fan club is hilarious; they actually meet under a magnolia tree next to the baseball field while the guys are out practicing. A massive group of giggly girls and one guy. Chloe started the fan club in elementary school when she had a crush on Zack and never dreamed it would follow her all the way to college. She hasn't liked Zack Warren in years, not since he stole the streamers from her bike. Best friend Lana has an unnatural obsession with the fan club. She makes Chloe miserable in her desire to make the club more official (making buttons and expressing the desire to start a website).
Zack's father elopes with Chloe's mother in Vegas; when they return, the whole family moves to a large house in the middle of nowhere. Though Chloe and Zack are normally quite antagonistic toward each other, they decide to pretend to be friends for their parents' benefit. As the two spend more and more time together, they begin to develop a bit of a friendship.
I really liked that the point of view shifted between Chloe and Zack. We get to know the characters so much better this way. Zack is a sweet guy that has managed to build up one hell of a reputation for himself (not by choice). Poor self-delusional Chloe; it was fun watching her try to deny her feelings for Zack. There were times that I wanted to scream at them to talk to each other, to admit their feelings. But we all know that's always easier said than done :)
Given the protagonists are college age, this book could be classified in the new adult category. However, for subject matter I would put it on the cusp of young adult and new adult. There are references to sex, Lana is rather slutty and proud of it. I recommend this novel to everyone high school and up that enjoys a sweet, lighthearted contemporary romance.
This book was very disappointing. I've never read anything by this author before and I love discovering new self-pubbed authors, but I'll have to think twice before buying anything of hers again.
One of the biggest problems is the editing. I try to be understanding of a few small errors in self-pubbed books, but this one has either a spelling or grammatical error on nearly every page. It's also double spaced which makes it really annoying to read on Kindle.
The story itself had potential, but just fell flat. I couldn't connect with Zack or Chloe and the plot itself was just silly. The whole idea of Chloe starting a fan club for Zack in elementary was semi-believable, but the idea that dozens of girls would join it and continue it on into college is just bizarre. What's even more bizarre is that Chloe's "best friend" would continue on with this club despite Chloe not wanting to be involved AND despite having a boyfriend.
Also, the club was a really minor part of the book (until near the end). The majority of the book contains long boringly detailed chapters about how Chloe and Zack take down wallpaper and paint rooms in their parents new house (Chloe's mom married Zack's dad). There is also another ridiculous subplot of a guy friend of Zack's who can't take no for an answer and constantly stalks Chloe, but it's also just over the top stupid.
I got so bored with this book that I ended up skimming huge chunks of it while I tried to find something good. I couldn't find much. The writing was juvenile and simplistic, the chapters were long and boring, the POV switches prove that this author cannot write a male POV at all, and the characters are all flat and cardboard.
I would not recommend this book to anyone - there is MUCH MUCH better self pubbed stuff out there for under $4.
This was a cute, fast read. It definitely reminded me of one Taiwanese drama entitled "DEVIL BESIDE YOU"(not with regards the "fan club" thing but with regards their relationship).
Both of the main characters here intrigued me. Chloe was cute in her own way. Her pov's were full of girly thoughts and humor. She also had an internal conflict when it came to Zack. On the other hand, Zack had the same dilemma. He likes Chloe, but he already messed it up when they were young that he had some problems being closer to her. It was cute because they were soooo used to hiding what they felt for one another at first that I just couldn't help but smile. I mean, I suppose it was annoying in some sense, but if you look closely, their interaction was pretty realistic. I just bet it's true that most of the time, guys are rude and obnoxious in front of the girls they like. I'm glad that they overcame the fact that they were .
I was very happy that they were also able to settle the fan club thing. I guess it could be very very weird if Chloe was indeed, still the leader of that club. I'm glad that Zack was quite forgiving about it. The ending to me, was kind of abrupt? (yes, that's a question since I'm not so sure about how I feel about it)
All in all, this was a good read. I look forward to reading more from this author. She already made me love Chasing McCree.. and now this. :) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
This is a well written book that deals with something all girls have… childhood crushes that last way longer then you would ever admit. One major thing I liked about this book is that Zack is a virgin. I love the fact that he wants to save himself for the girl that means everything to him… Chloe Baker. This book has a great story behind it, although the spelling and grammar mistakes were a bit distracting at times. The author did a well job switching between Zack and Chloe’s point-of-views, but she is not very good at writing like a guy. I thought this book was very good if what you want is a cute, girly quick read. The characters are all so perfect that it is unrealistic in some ways, but overall the characters were well developed. I thought that having Chloe and Zack’s parents get married was a very extreme way of finally getting them together. Once the parents found out about their relationship and were okay with it, I was fine with the fact their parents got married. The ending of this book was so cute that it made up for all the spelling and grammar mistakes that drove me crazy while reading.
I really liked this book, even though the scenarios they ended up in were extremely unrealistic, the way it ended made my heart melt a little, it was very cute! The only thing I truly and completely hated about his book is the fact that they were step-siblings, it completely freaked me out. And when she asked Glenn if she could call him 'Dad' I shuddered, it was really weird, not to mention that their parents are going to have a child together, that makes them related in an even more creepy way. I thought the plot line with the fan club was good but could've done without the parents marrying each other. It was a bit incestuall at times... Also the spelling mistakes really peeved me. Usually I don't mind, but I cannot stand it when people use 'Your' instead of 'You're' which was the case a few times in this book. I know I'm being critical, the truth is I really did like this book! I just feel it could have been much better than it was.

I absolutely loved the book. I really hope she writes a follow-up book on Kyle like she hinted at in her extras so I can see where Zack and Chloe are. I read the book after the edits so if that is what is holding you up from reading don't let it cause there not there.
The story was well thought out and I loved the complexities of emotions you portrayed through these characters. I love the way you brought these characters into facing their feelings because it felt so real.
I say if your other writings is like this than you'll have to add another "Official" fan to the club.
The songs I chose that I fell reflect the book are: JJ Heller - Boat Song and Until You Came Along - JJ Heller from Zack's perspective and most importantly JJ Heller - When I'm With You. And from Chloe's perspective Mindy Gledhill - All About Your Heart, and Alison Krauss - When You Say Nothing At All.
I actually sort of liked this book, but I cannot recommend it. To ANYONE. The writing was actually good but it seems like it wasn't even edited. Actually, it reads just like a first draft. The plot is definitely young adult. Although she writes about college age kids, it's meant to be read by middle school age kids. It's an easy read, but the plot is sort of immature. It's about a girl who starts a fan club for a boy when she was younger, and now it's followed her to college. And guess what? That boy has just become her step brother. This naturally led to some humor and it was an easy read, but grammar nazi's beware of this book.
Language- quite a bit, and pretty much every swearword is in there at least twice. Violence- some violence, but not much. Sex- there's a lot of talking about it and a lot of making out, but that's it. Alcohol- it gets mentioned in passing.
This has got to be one of the cutest, romantic YA books I have read in a long time! A fun and enjoyable book that I finished in no time flat it was that good!
The Unofficial Zack Warren Fan Club was started by Chloe when she was in elementary school. Now with the help of her best friend the club has gotten out of control and Chloe wants it to end. You see now Zack Warren is not only the boy she has a crush on, he is also her stepbrother.
Zack has always liked Chloe. Even before his dad met her mom, he liked her. Now a junior in college and doing really well in baseball he discovers that his feeling for Chloe are even stronger than ever.
Unfortunately he finds outs about the fan club…
I recommend The Unofficial Zack Warren Fan Club to anyone who is looking for a fun YA book to read.
This book was adorable, I fell in love with Chloe (when she was not whining) and Zack. I love when books are told from the two main character's point of views. It really gives you a more insightful view of how they feel for each other. I did have one issue which was the club that the girls created for Zach. I think the story would still be good without that in it. Overall, a good quick romantic read.
it was a great book and good story line but i just felt summit was missin. loved the characters tho i just felt there wasnt enough of em together and the romance could of been more.but i still think it was worth the read
This book is just off the charts hilarious. I plain loved both characters in this book. Chloe and Zach. Both of have supposedly “hated” each other since childhood. They pretty much get on each other’s nerves and constantly fight. However, Chloe has an infatuation with Zach. So, her friend picks up on the her idea and stars a Zach fan club.
Chloe and Zach are forces to be reckoned with. They are extremely funny and strong willed creatures. But the biggest curveball for them is that they are living together because oops they are step siblings. Chloe is your typical sweet and spunky heroine. She is strong willed and does not tolerate any of Zach’s crap. Her sense of humor and choices in this book made me like her a lot. Zach is an extremely awesome book boyfriend. He is a baseball player. However, he is so much more. There are so many layers to him. He is sweet, funny, and of course gorgeous. What I love about him is he is not a player. He treats people nicely. He is your all around next door friendly guy.
The romance in this book was off the charts rocky and hot. Chloe and Zach have so much chemistry together. You can see it, but they choose not to act on it. It is funny to see one character anticipate kissing the other, but is frustrated when it does not happen. I also love that there is no sex in this book. There are plenty of make out scenes however there is actual love and romance in novel. You can see how both characters mellow out and see what they have.
The overall plot in this novel was extremely sweet and nice. It wasn’t anything unique however it was not your typical NA. I would describe it as a cross over to NA/YA. There are awesome secondary characters and annoying antagonists. Lana, Chloe’s best friend, is certainly a person I had a love hate relationship with. The parents are pretty awesome. For a change, they are involved in their kids lives.
Overall, this is an extremely sweet romance. I highly recommend reading it as to get over a book hangover or filling.
For the first time i googled the author after finish off the book. I want to know her age. It was like written by fifth grade kid. Or better, fanmade.
The story is typical and cringe. And the author keeps repeating the same thing. The never ending "pulled alarm scene". At some point, i was like, "okay okay i get it. Stop talking about that. Urgh!"
The character. Ughhh. Chloe is a bitch. She thinks she's a good girl. But she's judgy and annoying and toxic. She talk shit about her friend. I..definitely don't want to be her friend.
Zack. The narative. I got issue with this! Wth?! This is the worst narrative i've been read. Are you sure Zack is a guy?
The author trying so hard to tell us that both Chloe and Zack is a good person. Did you know how many times Zack mentioned that he is a good guy? More than 3 times. That is not how to describe he is kind. You describe someone through action, scene and plot! Not boldly mentioned, "I'm a good guy, Chloe". Are you kidding me?
Just read few chapters at the beginning, and the rest of it is copy and paste. Same thing. Same thought. Nothing new.
"Yes, one minute you’re nice and the next, I-I don’t know what I’ve done wrong.” Now there were real tears. The big fat kind that shot terror into every man’s heart. Honestly, I didn’t know what to do with her. Do I say something? Give her a hug? Tell her to suck it up and be a…woman? “I’ve s-started to think you’re okay, you know? That I don’t really h-hate…er, dislike you. But then…then it’s nothing but a cold sh-shoulder from you. You smile, and then you frown. Sometimes I think you don’t like me. And then you do. But then you don’t again. I c-can’t keep up.”
Do you know how many times she repeat this point? More than 3 times in just 2 or 3 chapters. I'm sick of it. The book can be only 100 pages if the author write properly.
And there is no flow in the story. It was too sudden. Of everything! Suddenly they are stepsibling. Suddenly they are not hating each other. Suddenly they are friend. Fighting in page 1, make up in page 2. Wth is that?
The Unofficial Zack Warren Fan Club was founded by Chloe Baker when she was a child. Now she’s nineteen, Zack is twenty-one, and her friends are still obsessed with this fan club. Chloe is juggling trying to shut the club down and trying to hide it from Zack as she gets to know him, because they can no longer avoid each other. They don’t want to avoid each other, either, as it turns out that mutual hatred they shared, wasn’t really hatred. My favourite character is Zack, because how can you not love Zack? And my least favourite character is Max, because how can you not hate Max? I recommend this book because I’ve read it at least three times and I’ve loved it every time. It’s a controversial trope, with (spoiler) Zack and Chloe becoming step-siblings, but it works pretty well. “The last time I told someone I loved them was when my mom dropped me off at school in the sixth grade. The last day I ever saw her. She pulled out of the parking lot, and ten minutes later a car ran a red light. I have not said those words since.”

Re-Read of this novel and although I don't find it as swoony as my younger self I still enjoyed the book. Chloe hates Zack even though she started an unofficial fan club when she was younger. However now that she's grown she's walked away from that part of her life, unlike her friend. Who's dating Kyle, Zacks best friend.
Now as an adult that seems extra immature considering they're in college. But that's not the main issue here. the main issue is that Chloe and Zack are now step siblings, living under the same roof and that hate soon fizzles out... but what ramps up is the attraction and friendship between them both...and others of Chloe, which is hella creepy!
