I like how the characters in this series are written... you have your good kids, your shy kids, your mischievous kids, your emotionally troubled kids and your rivals... It is all very real and makes me wonder what my own kids experiences will be. Although I don't think I would like my own kids getting their first kiss in the 6th grade. lol. Who am I to talk? ;O) All in all it is a change from H.T's paranormal stories but it is still a wonderful story. You can get jaded with only reading the adult books... It's nice to remember how innocent young love is.... It was a great read and I am looking forward to reading book 3... :O)

Cute enough if you haven't gone through puberty yet, but rather boring if you have.
