A few months ago a teacher I greatly respected told me that I needed to take the initiative and read books that contrast my personal beliefs to give myself a better insight and no more "bias". So due to this advice I went on Amazon and instead of splurging on the typical Klein, Pappè, Scahill, Vadney and other political journalists I respected, I took the step of reading other books. One of them was this.

First of all, I have no single idea what possessed me to think that a former military and intelligence expert (and a fucking veteran) had anything to say that I wanted to hear about terrorism. His blatant racist and bias teacher absolutely no bounds when I had the great misfortune of reading this book.

Secondly, to no surprise of my own, this asswipe refers to resistant groups as terrorists. Taking obvious sides with the West, he wastes no time condemning the IRA as terrorists. He then later says that LEILA KHALID is a "celebrity symbol of terrorism". Leila. Khalid. A woman who preaches love, but (rightly) says that the Palestinians have a right to self defence. Not terrorism. However this is completely lost on Barry 'wasteman' Davies. Condemning the PFLP on no real grounds.

Thirdly, his incredibly useless view hardly even touched the surface on why supposed "terrorist" groups even EXIST. He does not talk about the long history of colonialism and occupation which causes these groups to RESIST, but he merely just stamps labels and ends it there.

Fuckkkkkkk youuuuu, you racist uncompromising little turd.

informative.
To that one girl in the comments thinking that a MILITARY VETERAN has no place talking about terrorism... who tf do you think is defending you from it????
not rating it as it feels wrong to give a star rating talking about terrorism and the millions of lives lost or negatively and permanently affected because of it.
I'd highly suggest people give this a read.

Very informative book, mostly based on what has happened in history. However I struggled to keep motivated to continue reading.
