She bids him to make haste and slake his lust, but Jarvik will accept naught but Elaina’s full passion. Their joining is explosive and magical, but how can Elaina trust a man called the Seducer? And even if he proves as good as his word, will the political maneuvering of rival kings force Jarvik to relinquish his new wife to the very man who wants her dead?
Award winning, author Jianne Carlo’s motto is simple: Alpha Me Please.
While strong heroines, exotic locations, and cultural differences are her forte, she goes weak in the knees for warriors of any type, rebels, SEAls, Vikings, and bad-ass mercenaries. Send her a man with an attitude and she’ll find the right woman to tame him.
Nothing makes Jianne’s day more than an email from someone who’s read one of her books. So far, she’s received emails from almost every continent on the planet. Almost…
Very poorly edited. There were literally chunks of chapters just copied and pasted into the following chapters, and it was deja vu of the most irritating kind while reading. Then there was the battle scene towards the finale with the villainous uncle of the heroine - the writing was all over the place in that scene, I could barely follow what the hell was going on. But even without all these writing goofs, which definitely made reading this story rather unpleasant, this last book was a weak ending to a wholly uninspiring series following the romances of Viking brothers. And for Ruard's and Njal's books, which I still haven't read yet? I'm going to pass. Next.
He kissed her once, long ago and then says that there is only her. When she asks if he has stopped being with other women he says, "No, I am but a man". I hate a cheating hero. They shared a kiss and he only thought of her, but did not mind getting his dick wet until he meets her again and marries, her. Then he promises her his fidelity. I hate and don't trust a manwhore, cheating hero. I DNF the book.

Did I miss something in the previous books? I did not understand this book at all, it seem to begin or rather pick up in the middle of a story/situation that was never mentioned in her previous books, it was all rather confusing. Theme of story also seem to be just like the first book of this series which left much to be wanted after finishing this story. Overall this was an OK read.

My Review: It has been a while since I read the other books in this series but I felt like it started rather abruptly and I was missing a lot of information. We really didn't get a chance to know Elaina all that well but I did like to see the women from the previous books with their full personalities. There is plenty of steam if that is all your looking for but it was a rather disappointing conclusion to the series for me.
This book irritaed me. I felt like I was starting the book in the middle of a story, even though I've read the previous books. It was strange. The sex is good, but not as hot as in other books in the series. It was also a little bit of a repeat of the first book. A "maid" who has twins that aren't hers, but that she's mothering. Sound familiar?
