The zombie apocalypse wreaks its wrath on Adrian and his friends, as he scrambles to assemble the missing Trinity of saviors.
Adrian Ring and his inner circle of survivors heads south through the German ruins after the Navy frigate he and his friends sailed on is eaten alive inside out by an infestation of the dead. Wracked with grief over the death of his brother, they make their way through the winter snow until they are bogged down, eventually taking up residence in a secluded farm.
But not far away there's a enclave of survivors, and while everything seems fine on the surface... they might have ulterior motives for their alliance. They might want to stop Adrian, or they might want to ferret out the demon hiding in his midst.
Either way, this apocalyptic adventure will see evil unleashed in a way never seen before.
The Lost & the Found contains Adrian's journal entries from January 4th, 2015 through March 2nd, 2015. It also contains the short stories Meow, Bitch, as well as Tactical Septic Tank, The Peacemaker, Vulnerable, and Only Bad Choices.
I am the creator and author of Tesser: A Dragon Among Us as well as Elmoryn's The Kinless Trilogy, Colony Lost, Adrian's Undead Diary and the Darkness of Diggory Finch.
I've gone to a LOT of college. I've got a Business degree as well as a Psychology degree, and I've done the full program at the school of hard knocks. I've been a printing press operator, bouncer, purchasing agent, bodyguard, customer service representative, mental health counselor, and more. I can write about weird shit because I've done weird shit. Trust me.
I call the wonderful state of New Hampshire my home, but I love to travel. I love to read, write, play role playing games, miniatures games, video games, and Magic: The Gathering. When I find the time to be active, I like to hike, play basketball, and play football. I am married to a wonderful woman, and together we have two wonderful daughters.
Philbrook has done it again by writing yet another character driven, emotionally charged tale that grabs you by the throat and never lets up. So many sad losses as Adrien and the group continue their trek across Germany, some tears were shed. I just love Otis, Adrien's cat more as the series continues. He has become a early warning system, saving lives and just being a lovable furball. I highly recommend this book and awesome series to any fan of the zombie genre.
Never fails to keep me gripped in anticipation and wonder this series is so much more than a zombie apocalypse series the twists ,turns, horror, emotion laughter, sarcasm and even anger you feel the drive and passion all the way through and the hurt pain and devastation I've read all the series and side stories and live in anticipation for the next book an amazing writer and story teller thank you Chris Philbrook!
This is another good outing from Adrian and his friends, but this European trip just seems to be dragged out. No resolutions in this book, just more plotlines left dangling. It's not helped by the many typos throughout. A little bit of editing would clean up the misspelled words and other errors that trip up the eye and slow the reader's pace. I still like the book overall, but...
I started reading AUD as a blog and was immediately hooked. The characters are flawed people that survive from not only their skill, but also sometimes pure dumb luck. Each book is a mini amasterpirce in a quilt of the zompoc.
I am just blown away with how much better each book gets. I’ve been a fan since day 1 (online thank you very much) and I’m still looking forward to whatever comes next. Do yourself a favor and read anything Chris writes.
*eye roll* I am really glad this is the second to last book. the humor is lame and forced. it also could have been the random narrator change which made it worse. the 💩 jokes and d*ck jokes are really getting in the way of the story. we get it you think it's funny.
Expected a lot of this book. Although interesting and full of action no resolution. A few gaps between story flow but a good read. Just left me a bit unsettled.
Wow, lots to unpack in this book. The author is doing a great job of setting up a grand finale. Enjoyed all the books in this story so far—lots of interesting characters, humor, action, heartbreak, and real emotion. Can’t wait to get started on the final installment.
