Raw Food Life Force Energy: Enter a Totally New Stratosphere of Weight Loss, Beauty, and Health

Rate this book
Looking for a whole new approach to weight loss, health, and beauty without necessarily going all raw or strictly vegetarian? Welcome to Raw Food Life Force Energy According to top nutritionist Natalia Rose, everyone is entitled to a beautiful lean body, youthful radiant skin, abundant energy, and a state of natural bliss. The secret is tapping into the ultimate source of well-being—Life Force Energy. If we can properly harness and increase our Life Force Energy through simple dietary and environmental principles, and therefore cleanse and bring our bodies back to their natural, harmonious frequency, we can experience radically improved levels of health, beauty, and happiness. Raw Food Life Force Energy is entirely compatible with the principles laid out in Rose's previous book, The Raw Food Detox Diet , but presents her diet-lifestyle in an excitingly progressive framework that reminds us that we are not just physical bodies, but dynamic beings who thrive on harmonious high vibrations and Life Force Energy. Rose presents four fundamental energy principles and practical applications, leading us to the best sources of natural energy—such as raw fruits and vegetables, sunlight, and fresh air, to name a few. These principles lay the groundwork for Rose's comprehensive 21-day program, followed by more than seventy original, mouthwatering recipes that range from healthful cooked fish dishes to raw vegetarian soups, entrees, and desserts to accommodate all levels of raw food energy dieters. Rose offers a new vision of how to honor and revitalize our bodies and become powerfully attractive inside and out. Raw Food Life Force Energy shows us how to break out of our destructive, energy-draining patterns of poor eating, unsuccessful dieting, and stressful living to lift ourselves to a whole new stratosphere of well-being.

I was curious about this book, because I had heard it was less extreme than a typical raw diet. Well, it was definitely still too extreme for me! Honestly, I think the whole point of this diet is to give you the runs, so none of your food stays in your body very long. My husband suggested that I could just go drink a glass of water from Mexico and have the same effect :) I gave it 2 stars because after I read this, I did want to incorporate more fruits and veggies into our diets, so that's a good thing. If you are into colon cleansing/detox type stuff you would probably love this book. It just wasn't for me!

Although it seems self evident, in order to have bountiful life force energy you need high vibration food. O.K., maybe not. Actually, after you get over the new age aspects of this book it is not bad. Basically pushing a raw food diet, yet much more lenient in food choices than most other highly restrictive raw food diets.

Natalia completely changed my view on food. I thought I was eating healthily, but I learned through this book the importance of combining food correctly for quick-exit meals.

The only thing that weirded me out was all of her talk of enemas and colonics. Um...no.

Good, fresh recipes (especially cashew cream), and some nice offerings for raw food meals, but this "lifestyle diet" is almost completely impractical.

She changed the way I look at food and weight forever, but more importantly how I LIVE.

I can’t fully express my gratitude for this woman’s work- she changed everything and made me realize I was not the problem - our society is mad.

And I had bought into the diet lie, low fat, kcal, grams of whatever... she came to my rescue.

A beautiful soul with a radical approach to health, that just might change your life forever.

This book had some really great bits of information in it! I will be trying out several of the recipes too. With my job I take clients to lunch on a daily basis, so following the detox would be impossible (without causing a scene and ordering special items off the menu), but I look forward to starting up my juicing for breakfast again.

This approach to food as Life Force Energy really resonates with me, as I am also a fan of A Course in Miracles and the work of Patricia Bisch, and Lynn McTaggart. Rose does NOT push only raw, or vegan or even vegetarian foods. She mentions pH but only because foods that promote a healthy pH in the body also tend to meet her criteria of increasing or at least not decreasing your Life Force Energy (chi/qi/ki/prana/manna).

I only read it today but the recipes look awesome. I was so excited to see chocolate on her good food lists! and a recipe for Chocolate Mousse. Plus some exciting sounding soups. Of course there are others, these are the ones I want to try right away. I have to take a salad to a meeting tonight, so you know it'll be one of these. Update: they loved the very simple salad. I loved the Herb Tomato Potage. When I made it, I felt like "okay I'll try it, I don't know, looks like a bowl of tomatoes...OMG! Delicious!"

the sections on this book about life force energy were great and exactly why i bought it, but i was a bit disappointed that that was only in the first few sections, and towards the middle it started to sound watered down and more typical of targeting people who want to go on diets, etc which is what i generally try to avoid when reading about raw because it is a lifestyle and a sciene, not some illogical thing like atkins, but the upside was that even amongst those watered down sections, there were a ton of kickass recipes to try.

I enjoyed trying out the Raw Food diet. I felt really good! The detox part is pretty extreme, but if you simply use the recipes then it's more of a good transition. I think the "transition phase" would be a good place to stay. I tried about 6-8 recipes & there were a couple that were not good & the rest were very very good. A lot of prep is involved, so if I do this again (which I very much want to) then I need to take one day to clean & prep all my veggies & fruit beforehand. I also enjoy the dry brushing.

I was really fascinated by the philosophy and theory behind this book. I really liked reading about this perspective on our bodies and the way they need/use energy. I learned a lot of interesting things (practical principles) from the book that I have been implementing in my life that help make me feel good and help get rid of toxins.

However, I'm not entirely sure I buy into the idea of our "life force energy" and chakras.

I learned that my traditional diet of a "square meal" was a driving force in the decline of health as I reach middle age. So many things that our mothers taught us to put on our plate load us with toxins. Mix them in traditional combinations, and the damage intensifies. My own health results validate Natalia recommendations.

I really enjoyed this book. I am very interested in health and nutrition. This book gave me many ideas that I will incorporate, but running a marathon this fall, I will not be able to go "completely" raw. I liked her philosophy regarding food and the energy that surrounds us.

I loved this book. I even bought several copies and gave to some of my friends. This booked helped me to understand why certain foods made me tired, and which foods I should avoid to fight yeast infections and chronic sinus infection. I wish I could become strickly vegan.

This is a great introduction to a Raw Food lifestyle. I like how the author is forthcoming with relevent nutritional data, but doesn't use a scare tactic.

A simple and easy way to integrate (not convert) to a raw food diet. If you want to add more healthful foods without becoming a fanatic (and rather sickly) this is a good one to try.
