"In the election campaign of 2000, candidate George W. Bush ran as a compassionate conservative. He promised to be a uniter, not a divider. He promised an America where no child is left behind. He promised to control spending and balance the budget. And he promised a humble foreign policy." "Instead, President Bush has just about wrecked our country. He's spent money like a drunken sailor, taking our economy from A-OK to IOU. He's pitted Americans against one another, waged war on the environment, created new enemies around the world, and left us even more vulnerable to terrorism." In this handbook, Bill Press focuses on the ten most important reasons why this president does not deserve a second term.

Bill Press focuses on the ten most important reasons why this president does not deserve a second term. Only ten?? Very imformative...and written before Bush's second term. I met Bill Press and he said the hardest part of writing this book was keeping the list down to ten reasons.
Press gives 10 reasons (1 per chapter) why we shouldn't re-elect Bush (among them: leading us into war, the loss of 3 million jobs, undermining civil rights, crony capitalism, alienating the rest of the world, a poor environmental record, broken promises, and damaged credibility. A lot of facts here, but apparently not enough people read the book, more's the pity.
