After watching the 13-episode cartoon series (which itself ended prematurely) on DVD, I can't help wishing this book, which encompasses episodes 7 to 9, wasn't the last. But it was. Guilty fun while it lasted.

Three episodes from the animated tv series: River of Flames, Screaming Wings and Trail to the Unknown. General Urko is still the primary Ape protagonist.
