Dark Dead Things: Issue One

by Mike Salinas, Chandler Morrison, Marisca Pichette

Dark Dead Things is a weird fiction magazine. We've got demons, depressed prom queens, and dystopian futures. Our first issue is packed with enough horror and sci-fi to scratch any itch until you bleed. The void is calling. Will you answer?

Issue One starts things off with a bang. We have a story from 2023 Splatterpunk Award Nominee Chandler Morrison and seven other wonderful authors.

Cosmic horror? Check. Surrealist absurdity? You bet. Dystopian sci-fi? Got it. Stories and poems that will send you down a rabbit hole of introspection? This issue has a few.

If you're looking for some short reads to scratch that horror or weird fiction itch, Issue One will scratch and break skin. Check it out.

Solid first issue. Also found some new authors I’ll be looking into. Will be reading the second issue, no hesitation.

Fun collection from some budding horror authors. Maybe it helps to read spooky stories around Halloween time, but these short stories were fun.
