Paranormal Shape-shifter Menage Dawn Endeavor; Previous Gunnar's Game
Grayson Belle is one in a million. Unlike the government’s manufactured Circs -- the nation's warriors who’ve been mutated by the government into men who can shift form -- Gray was born with the ability to shapeshift and has a heightened sense of telepathy. But lately, his world has gone to hell. He’s prepared to throw in the towel after his current mission. He’s seriously messed up, lusting after his irritating partner, Bas, whom he’s not even sure he likes. And then, Al Ross, the rogue Circ he’s been sent to kill, turns his heart inside out and his resolve to nothing. He’s losing his edge, because he wants to mark both Circs as his own. But if he does, what will that mean to the future he’s mapped out for himself?
He’ll have to gamble on his instincts to ignore what his head is telling him. Sometimes being rational means less than nothing if the heart isn’t happy. And Gray will be damned if he’ll let himself lose at love. Now he and his partner just have to convince one stubborn female to take that same chance.
Publisher's This book contains explicit sexual situations, graphic language, and material that some readers may find anal play/intercourse, dubious consent, male/male sexual practices, menage (m/f/m) restraints.

Two uber alpha males fighting for dominance and one rogue mutant willing to kill them, what more could I ask for on a lazy Sunday afternoon?
Grayson is the grandson of Alicia Sharpe; he's been bred to be the perfect natural born Circ. Sebastian Decker aka Bas is the perfect partner to keep Gray in line. Gray's increasing mood swings and erratic daredevil tactics is concerning the Admiral and his grandmother. Gray's never exhibited a mating heat, commonly found in the manufactured shape shifting Circ.
Bas is unique among the created Circs by avoiding going rogue and he has no mating heat issue, that is, until he's been partnered with Gray. The two flame up the sheets in a way that made me want to dive in between them for a taste. When rogue Al Ross captures them, it cements the bond between the partners and pulls Ross into the mix. I can always count on Ms. Harte for a hot ménage with plenty of dominance play and rough anal sex. This story meets my expectation and then exceeds with some smexy bondage and forced seduction. I can count on Ms. Harte for some great man love and a triad, which is a true triangle instead of a lacking v triad.
There is plenty of great smexy sex scenes interjected with a plot and a resolution to the villains being chased through the two series – Dawn Endeavors and Circe's Recruits. GRAYSON'S GAMBLE is a good conclusion to a satisfying series. The playful dynamics between the three lovers is fun to watch. I like Gray's hero complex. Bas's sense of humour is a delight. Ross's snarky comments are amusing. They are each different yet make a cohesive trinity.
Ms. Harte's writing is vivid and generates heat for me every time. Since I'm a person who possess a sensitive olfactory organ, the descriptive scents released by the Circ enhances my pleasure when reading her books. If you want to be turned on, Ms. Harte is the writer who will get the job done. I recommend this to sci-fi/fantasy ménage lovers who enjoy hot smexy shifter loving.
I don't know what it is about the Dawn Endeavor series... I find it enthralling. I also love Ms. Harte's (Circe's Recruits Series (which is in the same world as this one... kind of like a prequel series). Once I start a book in either of these series I can't seem to put it down. I read Grayson's Gable in one sitting. I hope this isn't the last of the books in either series, but I don't see any mention of future releases. I can still keep my fingers crossed.
I have been looking forward to Grey's book since he was somewhat of a mystery in the last book. Not as many sex scenes in this one compared to some of Ms. Harte's earlier books, but she excelled at making them boiling HOT! Just a great story with an unlikely pairing romantically that ended up working out in such a sweet way.
This is the fifth book in the Dawns Endeavor series and if you like hot man on man love than you will like this. I am always hesitant when a female is thrown in the mix but fortunately Gray and Bas were the focal point. Ali was okay but I didn't love her...I felt sorry for her (and envied her too having two hotties panting for her. If you are looking for a fast, hot read with a little non-conventional sexual encounter than this is for you!
This was a pretty good book in this series. I felt it was a little short and felt rushed. The relationships in this series aren't that well-developed. Someone just catches a scent of someone else and thinks - yum! Bada bing - bada bam!
I am still overall entertained by this series and I went on to read the PowerUp! series which I felt was actually a little better.
Short story that ends this series on a good note, though not all of the baddies are dealt with. I did feel this just needed a bit more a the end. Where are these three going to live and will they join the other Circ's. Grayson and Sebastian, partners, are both two strong alpha males. They butt heads due to sexual tension. When they finally deal with it and have sex, it doesn’t settle their feelings down. Then Alicia does her great interfering mate matching, from a distance, when she sends them after a supposed rogue mutant. The rogue in question is a female Circ, Alison, who is having transition into rogue factors showing. She has revenge on her mind and once she kills the one who tortured nd transformed her, she plans to kill herself before she gets too bad. Things don’t go quite to plan and we get some interesting information given to us when a bad rogue surfaces and throws Allison for a loop. Very good twist at the end with who was really in charge and who did what and why. Read a few times many years ago and reviewed back then. I own the older versions but nice to see this is Kindle Unlimited.
What I have found is that anything goes in her world. There is MM MFM and anything in between. It is original, it is fun, it is sexy, it is sizzling, it is strangely erotic in this paranormal world, and you will need more than a long drink to cool down. There is plenty of action and sexfests and you want to do away with the evil who place horrors against the characters. You want to be there to do harm when they infiltrate the enemy. If you like something oh so sexy, spicy and erotic, steaming and exciting with multiple partners then this is a book you should grab and dive right in.
Grayson’s Gamble, book 5 of the Dawn Endeavors series, by Marie Harte @authormarieharte. This is a re-read of the series for me. I had been thinking about this series for months & finally decided no time like the present! 🤩
Oh, Gray. Such a stubborn, bossy man you are! I loved Bas, Gray & Ali in this book. All the steam, natural dominance & love you can handle. 🥰 if you want some MM/MF/MFM this is the book for you!
I love Marie Harte's books, especially the Circe's Recruits and Dawn Endeavor series'. There's nothing wrong with Grayson's Gamble, but I couldn't bring myself to give it more than 3 stars because it didn't really "pop" or anything like the others. The characters were awesome and the story is great, but something made it more bland than the others. It was still pretty good, but regardless, I hope there are more books in the series to come. I'm starting to read the PowerUp! series as well, so far so great.=)
A great addition to the series, i read (circe's recruit & dawn endeavor) although they all share the same plot, the writer has managed to keep it steaming hot the suspence and action well balanced and gave the reader diverse characters which enriched the story.
