Our oldest borrowed this book from our local library following a magic program. She enjoyed watching the magic tricks and likes to learn about how to do them. This is a good book that explains how to do some fairly simple tricks, many of which use household items. The illustrations are simple black-and-white drawings that help to show the methods. I thought some of the tricks were a bit silly, but our oldest liked the book.
