Published in 1986, 'Hurricane' gives a brief account of the operational record of the Hawker Hurricane fighter aircraft, supported by over 90 well captioned photos. The short length of the book means that much of the text coverage is fairly basic, and is often wasted defending the reputation of the Hurricane against that of its more famous co-star, the Supermarine Spitfire. Nevertheless, and interesting book as are any on the Hurricane in my opinion.
