Fungus Grotto
Seventeen-year-old Vielle wasn't ready to go off to college. After confiding in her mother, she contemplates what to do next. Why is growing up so hard? But that's the least of her worries.
After a brief run-in with a strange creature, she meets a mysterious and overly arrogant boy. He offers his help, but only if Vielle will do something for him in return. Left to the elements, she must decide which path to choose--all before sundown, or she's on her own.
It's not long before Vielle finds what she's looking for deep in the overgrown forest of Mushroom-Rock. She doesn't have time to celebrate. Someone's been following her. And no matter which way she goes, the forest seems determined to keep her trapped inside it. Delivering the Nickleberry to Apple-Boy before sundown is looking near impossible, and Vielle can't help wondering: "How did I get here, and why?"

I love the concept and overall look of this online comic! Reminds me of the storyline of DreamWorks Picture's Saga movie, albeit this was running before even that premiered. I really hope the artist/author gets a chance to finish the storyline, rather than leave it hanging. It's been on pause for quite a while.
