This book explores different types of plants and animals that have a hard texture and others that are soft. It can be used during a classification lesson based on texture. Although the pages are filled with facts about the different animals on the pages, the book can also be used as a picture walk for younger grades paired with examples of some for the young students to experience.
Recommended grade levels: K-1

Great book to build vocabulary for the younger children. This book is a book of opposites of animals that describes their features using senses.

Appropriate for grades pre-K to kindergarten.

This also gives the children a bunch of adjective words to use for whatever purpose.
