Still enjoying the ride! Saga #4 took some time to get up to speed. Not something I felt in earlier installments, but I wasn't about to put this adventure down. By the end, I was looking forward to #5. Even if this wasn't my favorite volume, this is a compelling series.

A series which is super creepy and weird but the plot is equally good at the same time. Time to read out of my comfort zone

“You know, for a pacifist, you sure beg to get stabbed a lot.” I agree, LOL.

PS: definitely not for children this part, because Sextillion :)))

Hvalospjevi koje je Saga dobila su potpuno opravdani. Ovo se jednostavno ne ispušta iz ruku! Ok, dobro samo na koju minutu da nešto natipkam ovdje :-)

It's sometimes hard to write a book review for each graphic novel in a series. Then again, sometimes it's also hard to write a review for later entries in a series of novels - you end up feeling like you aren't saying anything new, because the books aren't offering anything that new. This is not necessarily a bad thing - they might be great - but I run out of things to say.

Note: The rest of this review has been withdrawn due to the changes in Goodreads policy and enforcement. You can read why I came to this decision here.

In the meantime, you can read the entire review at Smorgasbook

Nothings much happened in this chapter. And some more inconsistencies. If Marko was babbling nonsense/unconscious by the time they reached "Fort and Mountain" then who applied the spell? Because as we have seen already Marko has to pronounce the spell in order for it to work.

Loved to see the humane(?) aspect of The Will.

Nothing more to say, there's going to be a fight in the next chapter.

I own this book in compendium format.

In this book, we're mainly back with The Will who has taken to Sextillion to blow the money he's been given to hunt down Alana, Marko and Hazel after finding out his ex, the Stalk, was also on the case. Advertised to be the perfect sanctuary for busy people looking to let loose, he quickly gets taken to a "special" product which turns out to a child and turned by the trafficking factor of the planet, The Will attempts to save the child's life. Will it work? I mean, it's a 28 page comic, I don't know yet. I think the humour in this book is honestly one of the best things about it. This series has so many series points and yet is also simultaneously hilarious.

Seguimos.

The story continues, with the little family trying to survive and find a way out of the planet, while the freelancer named The Will roams a weird place full of creepy creatures.

The artwork is in turns beautiful and disturbing, but either way it brings the story across loud and clear.

Looking forward to the next one!

Don’t think I’d be interested in visiting Sextillion any time soon it’s, uh, not for me...

... plus Marco has some digging to do to get out of that hole, not getting off easy here...

No ocurrió demasiado en este capítulo pero estoy oficialmente enganchada a esta novela. Me gusta Izabel, le da un toque distinto a la trama.

I have to say, that space brothel named Sextillion has some weird sh*t going on to go on business like that. Bloody dodgy yet I'm kinda convinced. *wink wink*

So, the Gwendolyn mystery has been cleared out and my way of complimenting this chapter is, it ends with style. I like it! I'm in awe. Chapter 5 up next!

Often with work and or quality time with my fiance... I often forget to review things I've read in a timely manner. But here we go. :)

Saga #4.
Sextillion. Sextillion. Sextillion. Oh dear. What a perfect way to start off a chapter. Female creatures with just heads upon legs? Couldn't get kinkier in my opinion. I loved that Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples were not afraid to explore such a world. I just loved it to bits.

But it gets better. A little girl saved from child prostitution? Well. Almost. I'm sure we'll see the full heroics of that in the future.

Again... I cannot wait to read #5. Surely there will be more Marko / Alana action.
