We can choose our actions, but not our consequences. Fresh off of clearing the Vault of Ucnuc, Xeal and company find themselves dealing with the implications of the revelations that came after it. At the same time they continue their push to tier-7, while Xeal returns part of his focus to his quest for godhood in Eternal Dominion.
As a child I did not read unless Pokémon cards count. It wasn’t until middle school when my mother played a trick on me, she got me entranced in the Harry Potter books. She would read the first few to me before switching to reading me a chapter and leaving the book out for me to read if I wanted more. Thus started my love of reading, at least in part. I still didn’t go out of my way to find books to read and after high school I could count on one hand how many books I would read each year. Life continued like this for over five years before I was hooked on an anime and searched out its light novel. This led to the phase where I was reading at least a couple books a month to now where I have gone through over 300 books in the last year.
Now I am putting my own work in to the world while following my own mantra. To write for yourself or you will never love what you write. When I first started to put my ideas into words I was surprised to find that those I shared it with loved it. This led me on to the road of putting out my own book for the world to see. Thank you to everyone who has or will help and support me in making this dream a reality.
Great book for making Xeal’s life more realistic. Really liked how his interactions with the powerful NPC’s and guilds a like aren’t all roses and perfection. Without giving anything away Bern did a great job of balancing the entitled and elite to the realism of how it affects an up and comer. Great read!!
So the basic problem I have with harem stories is repetition fatigue. As the story teller, you want to flesh out and make special each lady added, but as the reader, I want more action. In both Ucnuc and this book the home life takes more of a back seat and Xeal completes major quests.
I enjoyed reading this book very much and I recommend this book to anyone who like LitRPG and progression type of books with real world tie in as part of the plot.
The author is able to give us a great story and add twists that just make the story evolve in a different way than expected. This series is amazing and this is just another of the great books in the series.
Books are getting spicy now with war starting! Going to be fun hearing about the battles. Wonder if this early war will make other continents wars worse as they learn from the mistakes.
This series just keeps getting better and better... Did Alex / Xeal let his personal emotions start a war to soon? His assassins errr... the assassins are not under his banner will that comeback to bite him in the ass? No pun intended. With evermore women setting their sights on him will Alex be able to stay ahead of them or will he lose himself in their onslaught? Stay tuned folks, it's going to be one hell of a ride. And don't forget the level 7 trials are approaching fast. How much more can Alex juggle before he drops a ball he cannot afford to lose? Man, I love this series😁🔥💯🤞
I am obsessed with this series and while I can wait for the first of June for the next book to come out. I rue the wait of the other's to be released. This is such an interesting series and I am looking forward to Alex/Xeals advancement in the Guild City and Quest World. I hope the war won't be long. I have a feeling that someone close to him will die because we have yet to see him truly lose control. I truly hope his children, family, friends, and other NPC's that are mentioned are not hurt during this war.
