Nobody is more shocked than me to find my childhood sweetheart on my front steps, asking me to make good on the pact we made over a dozen years ago.
Turns out, she’s found herself in rather desperate need of a husband. And she seems prepared to do whatever it takes to land one.
Even accepting me as her Daddy, just the way it was before.
The first time I take her over my knee, our old flame doesn’t just spark again — it becomes an inferno, and it isn’t long before it consumes us both.
But old lovers come with old wounds, and Millie Sue has already broken my heart once. If we can’t find a way to heal and trust each other again, our marriage may be over before it even begins

The story is a second-chance romance in Three Rivers, Oregon, where it is small-town living, everyone knows each other, and the gossip mill is constantly in the works. The story is mainly focused on Wilson King and Millie Sue Baker. From early on, these two were sweethearts, and everyone knew they were a couple. It was a shock to everyone when Millie Sue just upped and left town with no explanation, so her return will come as a shock.
Wilson King is in shock when he learns of the codicil of his grandfather’s will stipulates to inherit the land; he has to be married by the time he turns thirty years old—and that is in 10 short days. But then for someone to be at his door, only to discover it is Millie Sue and she has a proposal to offer him.
Wilson: Millie Sue. It’s been a long time. What are you doing here? Millie: I go by Amelia now. Can I come in? Wilson: I’m trying to decide. Millie: Fair enough. I’ll just get to the point then, and you can either invite me in to talk or laugh in my face and tell me to get off your property. Wilson, fifteen years ago, we were just fifteen, we promised that if neither of us were married or had any serious prospects, that when we were thirty, we would marry each other. We made a marriage pact, and I’ve come to collect.
The story will bring things out about their past and talk about their future, but they must first come to an agreement. Will they be able to pick up their relationship where they left off? Has Millie Sue showing up on his doorstep become an answer to his prayers?
Wilson: We go back to how it was before. Exactly how it was before. The rules, the roles, the whole shebang. Millie: All of it? Even the—daddy thing? Wilson: Especially that. I’m your daddy, you’re my little girl. You consent to my rules, my punishments, and you let me take care of you the way a daddy would. Millie: Wilson, that—was a long time ago. I’ve changed. I don’t need that anymore. I don’t have daddy issues. Wilson: I need it. Ever since you opened your mouth, your inner little girl has been begging for my daddy.
The story is a journey of second chances with new beginnings. A Vegas wedding, a short honeymoon, and then to face their friends—and Mama King. But this union has secrets, and that will play a role in their relationship. Millie feels her biological clock is ticking and wants a baby, and Wilson needs to be married to gain his land. For them, some things are just like they had been before she left, and others are new. Wilson is a Daddy Dom, and he won’t let her forget it. When she bucks his rules, he is fair but firm. It takes her time to capitulate to his dominance, yet she always feels better afterward.
The story has plenty of daddy taking care of his little girl, discipline, and explicit sex scenes.
A pact made as teenagers comes calling at the age of 30, who’d have foreseen the unexpected Childhood best friends and sweethearts they had made a pledge to each other as much in jest as anything and now it appears that Millie Sue has come calling on Wilson, will he honour the agreement or will he renegue especially as he is also in need himself. Millie Sue wants a child of her own and she has never forgotten the agreement with Wilson and in all honesty, there is no one she would trust more that him to father a child for her, so when she arrives on his doorstep just barely shy of her thirtieth birthday, he can only say either Yes! Or No! However, he is also in a dilemma and if je is going to be able to claim his inheritance he has to be married and he also can think of no one better suited than Millie Sue even though they have not seen each other for years there is still that comfortable familiarity and safety about him and he feels the same too. The emotion of these two characters is simply smoking and you are drawn in by the passion, the characters are as always well written and the scenario and the sexual chemistry will simply blow you away. I guarantee that once you begin reading you will not be able to put the book down until you reach the end. I am left looking very much forward to the next book in the series, I hope that it will not be too long until it winds its way onto my kindle so that I can have another late night of unstoppable reading.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
I really liked this story. Millie Sue had left Three Rivers ten years ago but now she is nearly 30 she remembered a pact that she made with her boyfriend Wilson, who was also her Daddy Dom, that if they weren’t married by the time they were 30 they would marry and have a family. Now her biological clock is ticking and with endometriosis her childbearing years are getting smaller so she heads back to Three Rivers to see if Wilson is still single.
Millie Sue has shown up on his doorstep and propositioned him, just at the right time because in 10 days they would be 30 and a clause in his grandfathers Will stated that Wilson had to be married before he was thirty to gain possession of the property and monies that had been said aside for him. Wilson agrees to the marriage and insist they go to Vegas get married straight away but there were stipulations in the marriage that he would become her daddy again and she would obey him and abide by his rules, Millie Sue agrees and they get married and although there are some teething pains they eventually have a happily ever after with a baby on the way.
I was given a copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.

Millie Sue and Wilson make a pact when they are young that is neither of them are married or in a serious relationship by the time they are 30 they will marry. When Millie Sue shows up on Wilson’s doorstep just days before they turn 30, sparks fly and the relationship is rekindled just like they never parted. I loved the raw emotion in this book. Ms. Jamison’ use of dual POV gives you a wonderful a more clear understanding of how both of her main characters are feeling. This helps you to feel as if you know her characters. The story is well written and the story line is engaging. The sex scenes are smoking hot and the war within Millie Sue to offer her submission is something I think most of us can understand. Her character development is phenomenal, setting the stage for future books in this series. I give this book 5 stars because I really enjoyed it and there are no plot holes. I can’t wait to read the other stories in this series you don’t want to miss this book!
Millie Sue’s clock is ticking. She wants a baby. Problem, she needs a daddy for that. She could go the cold route but there is one man that she knows might help her. Wilson was heartbroken when Millie left him. Now she is on his doorstep asking is he will honor their pact that they made, to marry each other if they found no one by the age of thirty. But Wilson wants to know why she left him. He also needs a wife in order to inherit a parcel of land. With a hand shake and a quick wedding, things are set in motion. But there a rules to the deal. He will be HER daddy. I have to say this is a twist. It is usually the woman that is upset about losing the guy. Wilson is a sweet man and loves Millie. Both of them made mistakes and we finally find out why she left. Amazing about the small town gossip. Can’t seem to keep any secrets. The truth will set you free.
In This book we meet Millie and Wilson. Wilson is a Rancher from her past and childhood. After many years of living in the big city and getting so close to turning 30, she has not stopped wanting a baby, when she suddenly remembers a contract they made when they were 15. så she returns home and shows up on Wilsons door to ask him to give her a baby. The negotiations begin, and they come to an agreement, but how Will it work? Will it be like before when they young or are they to different? This is a second chanse type of book with ups and downs.
I have to admit This is not my favoritt type of book. I do not like a lot of second changes and the secrets, but there are a lot of smexy stuff and a sexy Daddy.
I do like Rayannas books but This one just did nok do it for mer og feel right to me for some reason. But i do know a lot of you Will love it!
Wilson and Millie Sue are high school sweethearts but one day Millie Sue leaves town and doesn't tell anyone why, leaving Wilson devastated. Millie Sue is turning 30 and she desperately wants a baby she remembers the marriage pact she has with Wilson, so she heads home. Wilson also wants to get married because there's a clause in his grandpa's will that he must marry. Perfect timing for them to reunite! They have some sweet and steamy moments but they also have some bumps as they try to reestablish their daddy/little girl relationship. Can their relationship survive after secrets are reviled? I'm giving 4 stars because Wilson was a little to strict and he needs to work on his communication skills but how cute is his mama!?!
I am leaving my honest review for a complimentary copy of this book via the author.
Millie and Wilson made a pact years ago then she left town and left Wilson heartbroken. Now she's back to collect on that pact. She wants a baby and he needs a wife to inherent the land his Grandpa left him, only he doesn't tell her that part! Oops! The connection between them is still there but she's resisting the relationship they used to have. Can they both get what they want and what will happen when Millie finds out the reason Wilson married her? This was a fairly quick read but packed with emotions!
Even though the cover has changed, this is still an awesome story and I really enjoyed it.
This is the first book I have read by this author and really enjoyed it. Millie Sue left Three Rivers at nineteen and never looked back. Coming up on her 30th birthday she pondering the decision made and the people she left. Wilson King never got over the one that got away but a clause in his grandfather's will is make his life very difficult. When Millie Sue shows up in Three Rivers looking to collect on a pact, things get really interesting. Overall, this was a fast and enjoyable read. I cannot wait for the next installment of this series.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
But it seemed a little too pat for me. Nurse, Millie Sue leaves her childhood sweetheart for over 10 years only to come home and beg him to marry her, that just so happens to be on the day that farmer, Daddy Wilson, finds out there's a stipulation on his inheritance? See what I mean? I wasn't too clear on her disappearance act explanation either. Most of it made sense but not enough to make her run away for years. And lastly, all the spankings she received even while hurt, and all the work he did and "Daddied" her too, stretched the imagination. The angst was very mild (meaning little to none). Like I said- sweet. 3.5 stars
MIllie and Winston made a pact when in high school that if neither were married or committed by the time they were 30 they would marry each other. When Mille goes home and reminds Winston of their pact and that she wanted a baby, Winston knows this is an answer to his inheritance problem but doesn’t tell Millie. Instead he insists he be her Daddy just like when they were in high school. Of course the truth will come out but they do get their happy ending. Winston’s mother is amazing and there are hints of other stories to come. A sweet second chance story.
Millie Sue and Wilson each have their own reasons for wanting to get married. She wants a baby and he needs a bride for his inheritance. Coincidentally she shows up asking him to make good on their childhood promise just 10 days before he'll lose everything. Problem is, she tells him her why, but he doesn't. And when she eventually finds out the sparks fly. This daddy book is more of a daddy to keep you in line vs. a daddy with a little girl, but still a great read. There was great chemistry between these two and a great HEA.
I greatly enjoyed the setup to this series with the three brothers ready to branch out on their own. Each standalone focusses on a different sibling interacting with relatives and townspeople.
Wilson and Millie are likable characters but each has their own agenda for getting back together. The whys, wherefores and how they manage to mesh their lives is very entertaining. As they learn to trust one another after their motives are exposed makes for a better connection and a better relationship base.
This is a cute story! Rayanna is an amazing author! Millie Sue and Wilson made a pact to get married at the age of 30 if neither of them were in a committed relationship with someone else. He needs to marry immediately to get his inheritance and she want's a baby. This book made you feel like you were right there with Millie and Wilson as they were trying to develop a relationship and refall in love after so much time had past. But like all relationships, a secret can destroy everything. Please read this book you won't be disappointed.
Millie Sue goes knocking on Wilson's door wanting him to follow through on the marriage pact they made when the were 15.
I don't know about you but if an ex came knocking on my door, I'd seriously question it. But Wilson needs to be married himself, so why not his ex he never got over.
Lemme tell you, these two are EVERYTHING!!!! I love their dynamic and the fact that she keeps him on his toes. They heal a lot of old wounds, and those wounds belong to just about the whole town!
I really enjoyed this book. Millie-Sue ran from Wilson 10 yrs ago, determined to grow up, leaving was the only option she thought she had. Both Millie-Sue and Wilson grieved the loss of what they had. Now Millie-Sue has realised the life she wants is with Wilson. So she heads home and greets him with a proposal. Wilson has his own reasons for wanting Millie-Sue back. Least of which is saving his farm and becoming a Daddy. Great characters in a detailed and engaging story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.
An adorable story where friends cross the line and become more than friends and afraid of telling anyone. But, unknown to them, the entire town knows because of the way they look at each other and act around each other out in public. They would have had a lot more happy time if they just went with it and showed affection with each other out in public. Wonderful characters. I read an early review copy of this book for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book. I wasn’t sure the first time I read it, but this time I spent a good portion laughing—just goes to show that opinions change over time. He was so over the top it was funny, and she wanted her independence, but also needed her Daddy. His family were also funny, almost and actually causing problems on more than one occasion, but I was so glad that it ended on such a happy note 😊
I enjoyed this updated story. Millie Sue and Wilson get back together and find they are still in love, even though they haven't seen each other in eleven years. Once they work through their problems, they have their HEA.
This author is one of my favorites and she writes beautifully. You feel the emotions along with the characters. There are hints about the next book in the series as well.
I received an advance copy and this is my honest review.
Wilson and Millie are getting a second chance no matter how unconventional the thing that bring them together. A mutal agreement/contract where one gets a baby and the other an Inheritance. It is full of emotion, secrets and chemistry. Their story has many ups and downs. It was interesting to see what came from one childhood contract/promise.
Millie had left home 10 years before thinking living in the city would be a lot better. But she had left Wilson and she still loved him. They had made a pack at 15 that if they weren’t married before they turned 30 they would marry each other. So Millie went home to collect on the pact. Enjoy !
I enjoyed Millie and Wilson's story. It offers an engaging blend of emotion, heart and heat. A shared past, baggage, secrets and drama create a complex road for these two to navigate along the way. I am freely posting a frank review.
I liked Millie Sue and Wilson they were both interesting characters. I liked that they were friends who had feelings for each other but had a falling out. This is them coming back together as more than friends.
I loved the premise of this story - a teenage vow, a choice made in desperation, and a love that couldn't be denied. The story was as amazing as I was expecting it to be. It's steamy and sweet, has all the feels, and a heart-melting ending.
If you love Daddy Doms, Ms. Jamison is a must read.
First time reading already style and it wasn't for me. Making a woman drink from baby's supply cup was just weird to me. Ignoring that side of the story it Treadwell written.
Loved the book! So much happiness, misunderstandings, and forgiveness. But, a whole lot of love. Wonderful characters and a storyline that will keep you smiling.
An excellent and fascinating story that is full of emotions, and many twists and turns as Wilson and Millie reconnect. I really enjoyed reading their amazing story. This is my honest opinion
This was a fun read, Wilson and Millie Sue were so good together, I'm glad Millie Sue managed to realise what she wanted from the relationship before too long.
