if you gave a crackhead some paper and pencils to write a part two of the first book they wrote… this would be the outcome. This part 2 got confusing, I don’t know whats real anymore.. did any of part 1 even happened?
I honestly wanted to know what happened after book one. Man, I was not ready for this book. This was an experience and the fucking cliff hanger at the end. FUCK ME.
I don't often give books a one star because a book has to be truly awful and a complete waste of time to warrant it. This, unfortunately is exactly that. I didn't have high hopes going in since I didn't like the first one for a number of reasons but I didn't think it could get this bad. Millz, what happened? Was the first book not insane enough for you that you felt you had to one up it? The plot has gone completely off the rails and not in a fun way. I kept asking myself why Millz would write the plot this way. It doesn't feel like he was making it insane in a coherent fun way like in Old THOT Next Door but instead it's all a clusterfuck of random nonsensical things happening from one moment to the next.
There are two things that piss me off about this book. Both are spoilers so be warned for that.
The first is I cannot believe he actually pulled this, it's the type of thing I would never expect in a million years to come from a guy who has this much writing experience.
The second thing is
I've said my piece now. I do not care for this book and I suspect I will forget its plot in a month's time. I'm extremely disappointed and I'm now hesitant to read more of Millz's bibliography because while there's a chance I could read another Old THOT Next Door there's also a chance I could read a pile of dogshit like this again.
Okay, I know this has come off as really rude and insulting but I personally don't have anything against Quan Millz. I just wanted to clarify that. He has interesting ideas but I don't think they were executed well at all in this one.
This book is filled with a who done it. The people changed modes throughout the storyline. Tanisha, Dr Jackson and Natalie are bonded in a mysteries twisted connection. It is a thriller which one finds themselves saying WTF! As I read the book, I had to remember the men Luke, Eric, Jason who had different rolls in both Tanisha and Natalie's life. Dr Jackson was a doctor and part of a type of sexual cult. Did any of this weird exchange actually occur, or was it all a misguided psychic medical induced therapy.
This book was so hard for me to get through. I could only read a couple of chapters at a time before I needed to take a break. Normally, I could finish a book this length in a day, nonstop but this was the exception to the rule and it took me four or more days to complete. So many times I wanted to just give up and not finish but I keep going back. The ending finally showed potential but still not sure if I can compete this series.
(Spoilers) This novel dropped suspenseful revelations every single chapter. So many unexpected things happened. Natalie befriended Tanisha only to reveal that she's the leader of a weird sex cult that hates black men. Eric makes a surprise reapprence and that's not even the most shocking thing !
Please read this book if you love suspense and drama. You won't know who to trust as you read on.
I was so anxious for part 2 but omgi got more than I bargained for with part 2 I liked part 1 but part had ne in the edge if my seat for hours the title of this book will surely have you fooled if you think you are getting a ordinary hood smut read. Quan this book here makes me want to read everything you have written in hopes of the fun yet suspense that's in this book! Is part 3 out yet I'm not sure but I'm headed to Amazon to look now!!
It was hard to get into at first then book one quickly turned into book 2. Lots of twist and turns. At some points you long for more clarity but it picks up more and more as you read. I’m still trying to figure out the relationship between the title and the story though. If you read you will see… the title subject is merely mentioned a few times in book one more reference to it as it unfolds. I felt I was going crazy too like Tanisha
Who need enemies when you have a friend like Natalie!!!… There is something pretty messed up when ppl play with your mental when you are already facing challenges!!!… I loved book 2 even more than I did book 1!!!…I Hope them babies were not dellik, because you have to be really cold hearted to do something like that!!!… You really have to watch even the doctor when it come to putting things in your body because anybody can be bought!!!…
This book picked up right where the last book ended. The storyline morphed into something very bizarre. At times, it didn’t seem related to the previous book. It was interesting enough to keep reading. I could feel that Tanisha was on the verge of discovering something major. I wanted to see how it would play out. Unfortunately it led to another cliffhanger ending. I don’t know if I can handle a third Quan Millz book!
What an excellent storyline about mental illness, deception, murder and money hungry people!!! Waiting on part 3, I hope Tanisha isn't dreaming and if not I hope she can get that justce she deserves. I didn't expect it to go the way it did with her being the one married with the kids and they all getting killed by his frat brothers. Bring on part 3!!!
Tanisha experiences some wild adventures with her newfound friend Natalie. Characters who we thought were gone for good have reappeared, or have they? While trying to distinguish what's real or what's a hallucination, Tanisha makes some devastating discoveries. We also see that some paranoid ideas have merit and that things are definitely what they seem.
This book takes you to one end of the country and back! It was so confusing, but as I got closer to the end, the picture gets clearer. Still the title of this book does not fit the content. Kept going back, dealt with too many mental breakdown... One never know what's real or not real. I wanted to find out more, so I guess I download the second half.
I was good until she go to the twenty men and it went downhill after that. What does all this have to do with anything? Tanisha don't know what's going on and neither do I. The whole Psych hospital story was confusing as hell. I tried to hang in there with this book but its a wrap for me.
I’m so glad Tanisha had realized the truth & I can’t wait to find out what she plans on doing about it. But what I can’t figure out is Why the kids? I don’t want to give any spoilers. But why Quan? Why?
Part two got a little confusing, but wow. The plot definitely thickened. Nothing was what it seemed. Good movement and mystery were built in this edition. I'm curious as to how this will end.
First few chapters were ok then it start getting weird cause having all these manic episodes none of it is true u have a best friend she having sex people s and with u now u in the physc ward it’s weird to me what happens to to the little dick person
The book was missing alot the title only came into play maybe 2 to 3 times. I really had to just make myself finish it cause I wanted to just leave it unfinished it didn't do it for me
Overall, the book was good kept me wanted to read to see what was going to happen next… and as far as the main character bless her heart, she really was going through it
Thought I would get a few good laughs in but this story took a few turns off the ramp & ended with the worst cliff hanger of all Cliff hangers. Also mentioned demonic theories with was totally off putting given the title. Ion play like at ALL—0 stars if I could
This story took me on a ride and i quite enjoyed it. I was so enthralled and didn't expect the last 2 twists, can't wait for part 3. There were a few typos but not enough to ruin the book in my opinion, otherwise great story.
Certainly novel. Crazy twists and turns. Made me uncomfortable: put the book down at one point. Title of boos and intro completely irrelevant to the story. Disappointing read.
This is book is totally different from Quan Millz ! It has the usual humour, but this book has so much twists and turns. Definitely reminiscent of a B.M. Hardin book
The part 2 is absolutely great I couldn't put it down I'm hype I can't wait until part 3 comes out I definitely didn't expect everything that happened I love the way Quan thinks awesome author
This is a page turner for sure. Couple of repetitive parts, grammatical errors but I could still follow the stories. WTH is Natalie and Dr. Jackson up to fr?!
This book had me on edge the entire time, I wasn’t expecting the ending tho really threw me for a loop, now I’m left wondering if this girl is really crazy or being sabotaged
Wow! Part 1 is nothing compared to part 2! I am so into it that I don’t even know what is true or not! Poor Tanisha! Hurry up with part 3! I need to know the truth!
