As with the first two books in this series, the storyline of Triangle is drawn from a real, unexplained archaeological mystery. The ruins off the coast of Cuba were first reported in July, 2000, and underwater archaeological research in the Bahamas may soon change the history of human civilizations. By the time you finish this book, it may have to be classified as fact rather than fiction!

The Scientists is set 5 years after the events that occurred in TRIANGLE. Dr Jim Barnes on a trip to a conference in Germany has a mysterious meeting with a man wanting to share information about aliens, and a dark group out to stop them. And from there a whirlwind of action and adventure begins.
For anyone that read the SEEDS OF CIVILIZATION series this book brings a new adventure to the remaining members of the NWIDI team. This first installment of the parallel ops series is one of 3 story lines that occur simultaneously. Each book will reveal more of the mystery leading up to the final book.
This book was a great read. I hated to finish it, because it left me wanting more. I ended up re reading the previous books after finishing. With a cast of compelling characters and an alien mystery to solve, this book is a must for all.

For more than five years, Jim Barnes has been quietly investigating several several ancient artifacts that he and some friends discovered buried in the sand off the coast of Cuba. Due to the sensitive nature of these objects, the U.S. Government provides Jim with a small laboratory at a secret Navy research facility in the Bahamas. While attending a conference in Munich, Germany, Jim is handed a file that not only sheds light on the origin of the artifacts but also identifies a group of international terrorists intent on destroying the artifacts and everything they represent.
Possession of the Munich File makes Jim a high-priority target so the government moves him to a new location where he embarks on a mission ordered by the president himself. Join Jim and and his hastily assembled team as they race to locate the terrorists and protect the artifacts.
The Scientists is part of a three-book set that follows three different characters through the same exact same period of time. Although they are set in remotely distant geographic locations, each of the three story lines intersects with the others, creating a unique reading experience. Read them one at a time, in the normal fashion, or read them in parallel, chapter 1 of each book, then chapter 2 of each book, and so forth.
