Wow, it was a lot going on in this book. The ending really surprised me and I hope there is a part 2. I want to know what Peaches is trying to scheme her way into.

A good read

This was a good read. I love how the characters interacted. It's too bad that Brianna got to meet her father on the day she died. Allison Edwards is a great author.

Brianna Thomas is a stripper with a complicated life and an assortment of people in her circle that don’t mean her any good. With each turn, she is hit with hardships and must make on the spot decisions for her own survival. When she decides that the only way out of her current situation is murder, things only go downhill from there.

“Bittersweet” was good, but it would be great with developmental editing. The storyline offers a creative twist on an old topic, but it is never clearly developed. The dialogue and the scenes didn’t mesh well and were a little too choppy and random. Things were happening, plots were unfolding and conversations were taking place and the reasons why weren’t apparent.

Allison “Essence M” Edwards has all the right stuff, she just needs someone with an outside eye to connect the dots. With the right type of editing, “Bittersweet” could easily have gained a 5-Star rating, because everything is in there—murder, mayhem, sex, lies and betrayal. Comprehensive editing would have brought it to the surface.

I actually liked this book. The connections that were made towards the end were crazy! I wouldn't have thought who was connected to who would have been revealed. As for miss Peaches...she's up to something. Hope there's a part 2 to reveal exactly what it is!

This was a good story. It had a good storyline and some good plots. It had lots of things going on and something's seemed like they were left out. There were lots of editing errors so you had to use your imagination to figure what was really being said. Over all it was challenging but a good read.
