I absolutely loved Antonio. And Melina was heartbreaking and funny, and so sweet. My heart hurt for her from the very beginning. But, by the end, well, lets just say that those that hurt her won't hurt her again.
I want to say that there were some things that could in this story that could possibly be considered triggers, but for the most part, IMO, it was just a fantastic story, a bit on the dark side, that left me wanting more.

this is my first time reading a book from this author and i liked her writing style and the story flows. however, i didn't like the mmc in this story.
i don't get the fixation of antonio with melina, i'm not sure if it's because he took her virginity or he felt something more when they had a ons. he keep repeating the lines "you're mine" and "you belong to me" and other stupid lines that will impose ownership of her. he was annoying and i think his attraction to her is lust filled and superficial. i don't like it also when he's being nonchalant telling lina about his previous lifestyle. like istg, can i even read a mafia romance wherein the guy isn't a freaking manwhore? this trope is exhausting tbh, men can fucked around without a care yet women have to remain pure?
as for lina, i felt sorry for her. for having an abusive father and siblings and being pawned like she was an object. she was never given an option in this story. all throughout her life she followed the rules given to her to appease her father. she was even sold to a freaking piece of crap. antonio probably save her during her wedding but he take her away and lay down the fact the she will marry him. she didn't agree to it, she's not weak, she tried to reason out with him, but antonio have it in his mind that she'll be his wife, and that's what happened.
like i said i don't like antonio, he comes off as an overbearing and controlling asshole. his obsession with their ons isn't helping and the reminders how he view women as worthless and meaningless before melina grates on my nerves. he was so crass talking about their sex lives (antonio and melina) in front of other people when it was clear melina is uncomfortable with that. because again in his mind, it was another way of staking claim of her.
majority of this book, i think antonio only saw melina as his property or someone who belongs to him. she dropped the love bomb around 63%, but it took a kidnapping situation for antonio to finally realize he felt the same which is around 91%. a bit too far and too late for me. i don't think i'll be able to swoon over mmcs who only recognize fmcs like they're some trophy and a person they can keep displaying as a show for their masculinity.
i had so much expectations for this book because of the blurb, but i found it disappointing. this may work for other readers, it's just isn't for me.

This book has a lot of strong points, and I don't want to spoil anything major from the book, so let me start this little review by saying, some of the content contained within the book may be found triggering to some readers because of the nature of some characters. But, this book is also very well told through a dual first person perspective of both the male and female protagonist, and features some fun characters from other books by this author, despite it being a standalone.
Overall, this book is Dark and Gritty in places, but it doesn't overpower the romance of the situation or any of the action. It's a 5 star in my book for many reasons, to name a few; the intricacies, the smooth incorporation of past characters, the seamless overlaps and details from previous reads flowing into the story. It's a captivating read that I would definitely read again, but it leaves me wanting more of Marco and Helena's story (which is up next in the series). The goal of any series is to make you want more, and this definitely achieves that, while also bringing back Niko and Emila and Victorio from her past book Pure Temptation. I would definitely recommend snagging this book as early as you can to get a book that will hold your attention and keep you turning pages until you lose track of time. Another great book from a well-written author. I can't wait for the next installment!!!

Savage Intent by Jordan Marie is book Two in the Kingdom of Sin Series. This is the story of Melina Stratakis and Antonio De Luca. Melina is the daughter of Dracos Stratakis who is in the Greek Mafia but her life isn't that of someone shelter from abuse. This is because her father is abusive and now has set his sites on marrying her off to a violent older man. Antonio is head of the American Italian Mafia had is a dangerous older man. When Melina sees him stand up for her father she becomes intrigued with him. So when she gets the nerve to run from her family she thinks she at least wants to have one encounter with him before things get crazy. Enjoy this book.

This book just sucks you in from the beginning until the very end. This book is about Antonio, who is Niko’s boss and Melina, a Greek woman from an opposing Mafia family. Please pay close attention to the triggers. I loved who Antonio had to have Melina and who do anything to protect her. I really can’t wait for more books in this series, especially Victorio’s, Marco’s too.

Antonio had me intrigued right from book 1 and when this book landed in my hands I was beyond excited to dive in. 😍
Melina, poor thing has no choice but to live as a prisoner under her father's thumb but when now she's told she's to marry a man old enough to be her grandfather, she decides she would have to take the risk and for once take matters in her own hand.
What she never expected was for her curiosity to land her straight into Antonio's focus. Fate definitely had other plans though in store.
Antonio is equally intrigued by this sweetness that he can't stop thinking about. After a wild night together, he decides he can't get enough only to discover that his wild sweet thing had long back disappeared.
So begins the wild adventure. On one hand Antonio has war coming his way as after what happened he needs revenge for his own but at the same time he want his tesoro to be back in his arms again.
Every time a shocking turn would come, I was left gasping, so not having seeing it coming. As the way I kept wondering how would this two ever come together.
But especially the fact that intrigued me the most was wanting to see a Rough and Ruthless man like Antonio falling for someone.
My goodness though his bedroom skills, or rather the way he is rough and Raw and just so oozing 𝖲𝖤𝖷𝖸INESS left me surprised and in awe to be honest.
Especially the way he sometimes likes his men indirectly watching while he roughly takes Melina... Oh my..
My Favourite hot scene would have to be Antonio 𝖥𝗎𝖼𝗄ing Melina while the Copilot watches them from the mirror and then starts jerking off to them. OH MY MY. 🥵🥵🥵🔥🔥🔥🌶️🌶️🌶️
Rest assured though there's just some exhibitionism but no other people touching as Antonio might like people watching him with Melina but he is definitely a very possessive MF who would never let anybody touch his lina.

This is the second book in the series and although it technically can be read as a standalone it is best if you read Carnal Vows first.
Antonio DeLuca is a very powerful man and when he heads to Italy to broker a deal he doesn’t expected to be treated as badly as he is by Dracos Stratakis. He vows revenge on the man and will do whatever he can to bring him down.
Melina Stratakis will do whatever she can to escape her father and the marriage he has planned for her with Doyle Kelly, a man old enough to be her grandfather. She knows she needs to escape and find somewhere to go but she also is aware of how far her father’s reach is.
When Antonio realizes who Melina is he will stop at nothing to reach her before her father does and take the woman that he feels belongs to him.
This was another great book in the series and I was sucked in from the first page.
I loved Antonio from the first book and knew he was a good guy even though he didn’t have the “cleanest” job out there. That being said, he knew what he believed in and there were certain things that he would never deal in.

I loved his growing friendship with Niko and how well the two of them worked together. I also was happy that Victorio had more in the book and I am curious where he will end up.
It was interesting to see and learn more about Melina’s family dynamics in the book and her brothers. At the beginning of the book you believe that only of her brothers, Marco, cares about her and tries to protect her but through the book you see and learn different things.
This is another great book in the series and I can’t wait for more!!

Savage Intent is the second book in the Kingdom of Sin series and it was definitely worth the wait! It is everything I hoped for and yet so much more! It continues within the Kingdom and follows the journey of Antonio DeLuca and Melina Stratakis and begins in Greece. Antonio is the head of the DeLuca Family and OMG what a character he is! He deserves his own book series, fan club plus TV show he is that awesome! He is definitely one of the top 10 book boyfriends ever, the perfect balance of Alpha, possessive, funny and full of wit and hot as hell, sinfully delicious in all the very best of ways! When he meets Melina or Lina as he calls her the chemistry is instant and undeniable but their time together ends before it starts. Melina gets under Antonio's skin and so when she dissappears he sets out to find her not really knowing who she really is or how to find her but knows without doubt that he needs her in all ways. When Antonio learns that their two worlds are more closely woven together than he can imagine he becomes a man on a mission to find his woman and save her from the evilness her father Dracos Stratakis is handing her over to! It was also wonderful to see Melina blossom under Antonio's guidance, to find her inner strength and become such a strong and confident woman. Antonio's men Levi and Zane are hilarious and we definitely need to see more of them in the future it was also great to see Niko and Victorio back amongst the action and to meet new characters such as Melina's brothers, especially Marco who is intriguing in more ways than one. This story can be read as a standalone, with parts from the previous book being told again from another character's view point which is enjoyable but I highly recommend reading all the books in order to fully immerse yourself in this amazing mafia world and enjoy these incredible characters that Jordan Marie has created. Since reading Carnal Vows, which you don’t have to to understand this book.
But I’d highly recommend it because it’s not only really good but then you will have more background on the other characters, again not necessary in order to read Savage Intent.
Antonio intrigued me to no end. He’s the head of the DeLuca Mafia Family.
He’s ruthless, cunning and without mercy. But he takes care of his own and is dedicated to his organization and his soldiers.
I knew he would be wild and over the top when he fell for a woman.
Melina is the only daughter to the head of the Stratakis Mafia Family of Greece.
She knows the life of the mafia being in it her whole life. She’s not the protected princess.
Melina knows how things work and what’s expected of her.
She’s sweet and innocent. But certainly not naive or dumb. Wanting to rebel a little. She sets her sights on Antonio.
Antonio is taken in with Melina’s beauty and her innocence. He’s enthralled and captivated with her.
One sexually charged and intense night will lead to many dominos falling that will having people dying and empires falling.
Antonio’s obsession and possessiveness towards Melina was everything I would expect from a man such as himself. But he also surprised me with his kink and his way of thinking.
But it had me thinking it should not have really surprised me because the man is arrogant and cocky as all hell. The confidence he has in himself makes his kink fit his personality perfectly.
I absolutely adored Melina. I liked her sweetness. And I also liked that she was also filled with sass and feistiness.
These two together are absolutely explosive! They are hot and sexy. But also poorhouse couple.
The suspense and drama fill the pages. Lies, betrayals and lust make for a fast paced and turn pager of a story!

Melina Stratakis and Antonio DeLuca are the lead characters in this dark mafia story and what terrific characters they are too. While Melina has been closeted all of her life, not in a protective manner though, and discouraged from having any opinions on things, she does have a determination and courage that is admirable. I love her caring manner, as well as her sassy side. Antonio is quite a bit older and yet their age difference doesn’t appear to even come up, it’s definitely not an issue. He is the head of the mafia in Miami and is used to things going his way so when things don’t, well… he’s not a happy chappy! I really liked his devout attention to Melina; his determination to protect her and get her away from her father.
In this fast-paced story there is so much action and drama that gets your heart pumping and racing. My heart was so broken for the way Melina had been treated by her father and brothers for all of her life. Equally, I felt so much anger towards her family, I wanted to do something drastic to her father in particular—let’s just say that when Ms Marie creates evil characters they are truly vile. As Antonio says, "Whatever that man is, he’s no father."
This is predominantly a darker story, however, there are some fabulous scenes with great humour. This was another great book in the series and I was sucked in from the first page.
I loved Antonio from the first book and knew he was a good guy even though he didn’t have the “cleanest” job out there. That being said, he knew what he believed in and there were certain things that he would never deal in.
Melina was such a firecracker and I really liked her but she walked a precarious line and really had to be careful as it was quite evident that her dad did not care about her at all. The stuff her dad says to her in the book is horrifying and although she knows she really should remain silent sometimes it’s hard for her to do so.
I liked the way that Antonio and Melina met and how Antonio knew he wanted her without really knowing who she was. He was going to find her at whatever cost it took and he knew that she was going to end up his. There was so much chemistry between the two of them and I enjoyed watching it grow in the book. They were definitely hot and heavy!!
The book had a great mix of business and pleasure as Antonio was a very powerful man who wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. I loved his growing friendship with Niko and how well the two of them worked together. I also was happy that Victorio had more in the book and I am curious where he will end up.
It was interesting to see and learn more about Melina’s family dynamics in the book and her brothers. At the beginning of the book you believe that only of her brothers, Marco, cares about her and tries to protect her but through the book you see and learn different things.

This was the second book in the Kingdom of Sin series. This time Antonio, the head of the family and Melina the daughter of one his rivals are the leads.
This book starts in Greece right before Niko is shot in Book 1. Antonio is there with Niko and Maxwell to broker a deal with Draco Strakios. As Antonio leaves a meeting Melina hides in her fathers office to get a glimpse of him.
Melina’s father has arranged a marriage between her and a mobster in Philadelphia who is 3x her age. Melina doesn’t want to marry him so she plans her escape. As part of that escape she goes to a restaurant that Antonio will be at so she can see him one last time.
Antonio notices her hiding in the back and decides she’s the one he wants to be with that night. After an amazing night where Melina gives her virginity to Antonio, she gets up and leaves in the morning disappearing into Greece hiding from her father.
Antonio looks for her but tragedy strikes and he needs to help his family. In the meantime Melina’s father finds her, brings her home and punishes her. Then immediately sends her to the US for the arranged wedding. Where Antonio and his friends kidnap her.

Savage Intent is book 2 in the Kingdom of Sin series and it was every bit as exciting as the first. I'm loving this dangerous world with its dark, deadly and sinfully addictive characters.
Ever since Antonio DeLuca made his presence known I've needed more. With his larger than life domineering presence he intrigued me straight away. He's ruthless, commands respect and loyalty, those that cross him don't live long enough to regret it.
Melina first sets eyes on Antonio when he stands up to her tyrant of a father, she wants to know who he is and makes it her mission to find out. I loved their first meeting, the way Antonio went straight after her and told her exactly what he wanted. DAMN!! He is dirty, demanding and all kinds of hottttt!!!
I really liked Melina she came across as quite meek and mild at first but underneath she was feisty and strong, especially once Antonio dirtied her up a bit. He gave her the courage to be herself and I loved them together.
This story was fantastic, I enjoyed the flow, it was suspenseful and intense with the dark elements and violence I love from a Mafia read. It was also super steamy with plenty of witty banter too.
I can't wait for more of these dangerous men and their Sinful Kingdom. Bring on Marco then hopefully pretty boy Victorio will get his own story.

Oh my Antonio….excuse me while I sit here and fan myself for awhile. Jordan warned us he would be a certain kind of spicy but she outdid herself with this one! I love me some dark and dangerous take charge kind of guys and being the mob boss, Melina didn’t stand a chance. This poor girl has been through the ringer. Her dad is a grade A you know what but she refused to let him break her completely. She meets Antonio by happenstance but I think it was fate all along. These two were meant for each other and that’s very apparent. Even when she’s giving him hell, which leads to some very exciting sexy times if you catch my drift. There are a few scenes that I am not ashamed to admit, I will be revisiting from time to time. I’ll tell you one thing though, if this is how Lina and Antonio are, I absolutely can’t wait to see Marco is all his glory.
Once again, J. Marie brings these characters to life for me. She makes me want to get to know these people better and anticipate what or who will be next. She gives the perfect balance of conflict and banter that will always keep me coming back for more.

This story is part of a Mafia continued series.
Right away I throughly enjoyed seeing previous characters within this book. Seeing them and where they’re at, or how far they’ve come in their own growth was great.
This particular story is centred around Antonio and Melina. From the start their connection is instantaneous and explosive. However, they’re pulled apart and left to deal with things in their personal lives that truly test them, yet bring them closer together later on.
I won’t say it was insta love for Antonio, but it was definitely an attraction which only built until he realized how much he needed her. Which for Melina, she was more scared of her feelings due to her upbringing, yet in the end they both grew independently and together.
I will say my one gripe is that I felt at times Antonio was “too” Alpha as he got mad and very territorial when her brother was the least bit affectionate towards her, but that’s a personal dislike.
Overall an amazing story! Thank you Jordan for once again sharing your brilliance. She even set up the perfect scene for the following book! Can’t wait to see Marco and Helen’s book.

It was actually really cute to see how gone Antonio was for Lina, but kept telling himself that he wasn't. I always love when the hard Mafia man turns simp for his woman. 🫠 Seeing Lina grow stronger and more sure of herself with the help of Antonio was rewarding. I'm really excited to read about her brother Marco next!

OMG, this book is all things Mafia, Jordan blew me away with Antonio and Melina’s story😳 I don’t want to say too much but suffice to say this story is what I would expect would happen in real life. It’s raw, gritty, violent in some parts but also we see a side to Antonio I never expected🙃
Melina is the only girl along with six older brothers in her family, she lives with strict rules as per her father’s iron fist ruling. When her father dictates she will be marrying a man old enough to be her grandfather she puts her foot down, with dire repercussions. Deciding to get away from her family, since no else seems to be helping her she sees a man stand up to her father and she is immediately captivated by his presence. Seeking him out one last time before she leaves, gives her an experience she never expected but will never regret❤️🩹

Antonio & Melina is starting out with lies, but I do believe it will be worth it in the end. Lina a prisoner in her father’s world with an arranged marriage again. This one is not really for the best though. It is sad where in this day & age there are still families, & cultures, out there that not only does a woman not have a voice & are considered week, but they are practically sold for some type of profit/benefit to the family.
The chemistry between Antonio & Lina is Way off the charts. Antonio is the biggest Alfa male out there that I have ever read about. WOW!! HOT as HELL!!
Lina’s father is a true Monster who has trained is sons to do the same. This man should never have been able to reproduce. Thankfully not all of them take after their Monster of a father, figuring out which ones is the hard part.
The suspense is out of this world so much so that I cannot put this book down until I cannot see but burred visions of the words.
Now I need everyone else’s stories.

My rating: 4 1/2 stars
What I liked: I liked Antonio(H) he was rough around the edges but I loved his take charge attitude. I also liked Melina(h). I loved how strong and sweet she is and didn’t let her family ruin her. I’m glad Marco and the others turned out to be good. Loved how the father was dealt with.
What I didn’t like: I wished two brothers would have suffered more…. I’m vindictive like that lol
***Major Spoilers/ Details/Triggers: Abuse and some voyeurism. h’s father is a horrible man who abuses his children. H, who is the head of the mafia, was supposed to have a deal with the h’s father but the father decides to have a deal with an old man that he is forcing his daughter to marry. h goes to see the H (because he stood up to her father and no one does that). After spending the night with the H, she leaves and runs away. H has his men look for her. Unfortunately, her father finds her first. H finally gets her. They works things out and they get their HEA.

This gritty and raw mafia read is Melina and Antonio's story.
We met the mafia leader in Carnal Vows. He is just as ruthless as a mafia leader should be. When he meets a beautiful young lady and they share a night of unforgettable spicy time he makes it his mission in life to make sure the young woman is his. He is ruthless when he needs to be and will do whatever is necessary to protect what is his.
Melina is a beautiful young lady who has been treated like an after thought. She is the youngest in her family and the only girl to boot. Her father has brokered a marriage between her and a man old enough to be her grandfather. He is a despicable man who only cares about himself and gaining what power he can. So what is this timid beauty to do........ I won't spill the beans but know it is worth the read.
This book has a few raw moments and many gritty. Be prepared for the rollercoaster you are about to read.

Plot: Melina's father is selling her off to an old man as his virgin bride. She was determined to seek her own freedom in any way she can so she sneaks away when he is occupied, but before she gets away for good, she spends the night with a mysterious associate of her father's. Antonio expects to see Lina in the morning, but she is long gone. Now multiple people are trying to find her, but Lina yearns for freedom.
Commentary: Antonio was a hard nut to crack! It was difficult to tell whether he wanted Lina because he truly liked her or whether he wanted her because she was his property (as he saw it). At times, that made it difficult to like him. Lina was tender and delicate and too kind, but in the end, Antonio saved her, and in many ways, she saved him as well. I did hate that her brothers were so all over the place. It seemed like a couple of them were truly awful, some of them had ambiguous loyalty, and some of them secretly cared about Lina but didn't do anything to stop their father's horrible abuse of her. There were enough of them - I hate that they couldn't have banded together and saved her long before the wedding scene.

Readers can expect the spice level to be ramped up in "Savage Intent". It's not a slow burn!

When she first meets 33-year-old Antonio, she doesn't know what she is in for. Antonio finds out who she is and what she is forced to do. He wants to protect her.

Melina has a father who is in dirty business sells his daughter to a man who is old enough to be her grand father. She runs away and meets Antonio. He is so attracted to her he gets her to spend the night with him. Waking in the morning he want more but Melina has left. Antonio wants to search for her but Nick is in his coma. He funds out about her marriage and teams up with Killian to rescue her. Antonio vows to keep her safe, and teams up with one of her brothers to get to the father.
Melina and Antonio are so good together. She has a feisty attitude which keeps him on his toes. Of course their chemistry is combustible. These two are hot,your heart yearns for then and breaks for what Melina has been through. This author doesn't get enough credit her writing keeps you wanting to finish the book. I have read several if her books and loved everyone if them . Jordan keep them coming!!!

Jordan Marie did a fantastic job on this story, Antonio and Melina's story was well written, the plot was strong, it was packed with so much, I couldn't put the story down. Melina and Antonio were strong characters, fierce, they'd do what they had to. The two's journey was a bumpy one, they had their ups and downs but they were a strong pair, the connection between them was intense, their chemistry was off the charts, it was sizzling, they were perfect together.
Antonio and Melina's journey may have been a rollercoaster but they were fighters, they were made for each other. I'd recommend reading their story, you won't regret it. Savage Intent is a great story.

Savage Intent was the second book in the Kingdom of Sin series by Jordan Marie.
I was super happy to read Antonio's book. I loved him in Niko and Emilia's story, so his own was bound to be good.
Once he found Melina, Antonio would stop at nothing to make her his.
Melina wanted nothing more than to escape the life and the plans her father has for her.
Antonio and Melina are an explosive couple. From the beginning to end, it had me hooked, their connection was intense, the suspense had me on the edge of my seat, and at times, it was funny.
Overall, I just found it an extremely exciting read.
I sooooo want Victorio to have his own story. The poor man and his "pretty face" needs his own book!
