This is a rollicking adventure into a magical world, the author has truly captivated with Charlie’s adventures, it’s hard to believe this is a debut novel! This story draws you in straight away, you’ll want to be there with Charlie as he takes on…. No I’m not going to spoil it… you need to read this book, it has everything, mystery, suspense, magic, intrigue, adventure, thrills, tension… and best of all, this is book one of a trilogy!!!

It's hard to believe this is the author's debut novel. It has all the elements I look for in a good fantasy book - a strong plot, a battle between good and evil, characters to hook me in, jeopardy, fantasy creatures and some magical elements. How the author uses the school, Headmaster and Charlie's bullies in the story is clever. I am looking forward to the second instalment already.

I'd been wanting to read this for a while, so finally got my hands on a copy. Fun young adult story, with lots of magic and interesting, imaginative characters that come to life.

I'm looking forward to reading the other parts, as I believe this is the first book in a trilogy.

A Storm Incoming was a fun adventure with a solid plot and amazing character development. The elemental power system is so well thought out and I enjoyed the series of trials Charlie has to face.

I loved Charlie’s character development throughout this book, he was so sweet and caring but grew into himself while overcoming his fears. I can’t wait for Charlie's next adventure
