Sylvia was inspired to write about the Amish as a result of the enduring legacy of Mennonite missionaries in her life. While living with them for three weeks, they got her a library card and encouraged her to start reading to cope with the loss of television and radio, giving Sylvia a new-found appreciation for books.
Although raised in the cosmopolitan city of Montréal, Sylvia spent her adolescent and young adult years in Nova Scotia, and the beautiful countryside landscapes and ocean views serve as the backdrop to her contemporary novels.
After meeting and falling in love with an American while living abroad, Sylvia now resides in the US. She spends her days writing, hoping to inspire the next generation to read more stories. When she’s not writing, Sylvia stays busy making sure her three young children are alive and well-fed.

So Beth knows she loves Sean, why can't she just tell him. Take a stand and let him know how you feel and then roll with the way things are. But, Beth is afraid to face how she really feels and even though Sean has sent out signals that he is really interested it just doesn't seem to click. Now, his ex-wife has shown up at the B&B with the story that the man she left Sean for and married has dumped her and taken everything. She is destitute and therefore, wants Sean back and will do whatever it takes to get him to marry her again. Beth being Beth takes her in even though she does not have a reservation and is horrible not only as a guest but just as a regular person. She constantly makes cruel remarks to Beth and the staff and continually talks about how she is going to get Sean back. Beth thanks GOD that she doesn't know about her and Sean. Why is Beth backing down? She knows that this woman is horrible and she knows she loves Sean and he loves her. Why oh Why won't she fight for him. The story continues with what is happening and there are times you just want to reach through the pages of the book and lock them into a room until they figure it out before you let them out. Love Sylvia Price books and her series stories are definitely ones you should not miss. Grab a bunch of them and be ready for those cold winter days when curling up on the couch or your favorite fireplace setting and enjoy.

Finding Faith is the sixth book in the Rainbow Haven Beach series and there are still more stories to tell. A fast-paced and quick read that definitely left me with wanting to see what would happen to these characters next.
While all the characters had a role and continued their stories, Beth and Sean were front and center once again. They lacked the ability to communicate well and thought they knew what the other was feeling or thinking but never told him/her due to their fear of ruining their friendship if they did. Unfortunately, it could have dire consequences if they didn't speak to each other! There were a lot of prayers and praying but not communicating!
The multiple storylines flowed nicely and there was closure and a happily ever after in the offing. Faith definitely played a major part in this book.

I wish I had the option to give a 3.5 star rating. This book is not what I am accustomed to from Sylvia Price and, unfortunately, is definitely not my favourite in the series: it was quite frustrating that virtually the whole book dealt with Beth and Sean continuing to ‘dance around’ their feelings for one another, only finding a way forward in the final chapter! The arrival of Sean’s ex-wife added a touch of excitement, but both main protagonists showed a complete lack of strength in being able to stand up to her. Lillie and Ryan were the most mature characters and eleven-year-old Abby’s presence was largely overlooked, except when she was ‘advising’ Beth in an unrealistically adult manner. I prefer not to submit negative reviews, but I am committed to giving my honest opinion of this free advance copy I received via StoryOrigin.
I have enjoyed this series by Sylvia Price. This book was a bit frustrating with the characters. Sean and Beth dated in high school, then went their separate ways. Now several years later Beth has moved back to Rainbow Haven Beach. They have reconnected. A relationship has been building slowly. In this book, Sean's ex-wife returns to Rainbow Haven Beach and creates a lot of havoc. The frustrating part is Sean and Beth not being able to communicate their true feelings for each other to each other. Sean is on the verge of forgiving his ex-wife, Jennifer for cheating on him, and taking her back. You will have to read the book to see how it turns out. I received a complimentary copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sean and Beth keep avoiding telling the other they wish to take their relationship to the next level. Sean's ex-wife shows up unexpected and stays in Beth's BnB. She lets it be known she wants Sean back. Sean and Beth both think the other is not interested in being a couple. Beth's daughter and her boyfriend, Ryan, try to make Sean and Beth realize they love each other. I enjoyed this book as I have all the books in this series. I am excited to see where this series takes the characters. I really like the fact Ms. Price is open with the fact prayers are answered if we just pray.

This is a sweet, clean romance and was a enjoyable read. I found the characters relatable and the story realistic. Beth is a widow who reconnects with Sean, her high school ex-boyfriend. They are both protective of their hearts and therefore reluctant to express their feelings for each other. That is, until Sean's ex-wife arrives and forces their hand, much to her chagrin. I think this is a series that is best read in order so you have the back stories on all the characters which will make experiencing each book in the series better. I received an advanced review copy courtesy of StoryOrigin and this is my voluntary review.
Finding Faith is the Sixth book in this series. Each book is a short, quick read in this saga about family and friendships. These books are all linked so I do suggest they are read as a series.
Beth and Sean are still pussyfooting around each other and it is getting a little tedious now. I do feel they needed someone to tell them to get on with it or just forget it. This book feels more like an episode in a tv show rather than a complete book. It is certain not the best book in the series. If you love this series then you will enjoy this book. If you are new to it then please do not start with this one.
One of my favorite reads are your second chance romantic stories that have a beach setting. Just something about them makes you feel good about life and happy endings. Sylvia Price 's faith based series does not disappoint. Strong believable characters with a storyline that was both frustrating, Sean and Beth loving each other but to afraid to take that step. Then throw in one ex wife who is the guest from hell who wants Sean back. Really Beth is way too nice. A quick read that you will enjoy.
This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from BookSprout.
The maybe they will/maybe they won't relationship between Beth and Sean is finally resolved, but not without help from friends and family.
It was, by turns, frustrating, immature, and understandable. Sean's a good guy trying to do the right thing. Beth has the patience of a saint and, likewise, tries to do the right thing. Both have also been burned before, and so they are a bit gun-shy.
Join the gang in Rainbow Beach once again. This time the focus is on Sean and Beth. These two let thier individual fears complicate their ability to communicate their true feelings for each oth. Then Sean's ex shows up making matters worse. The family rallies around them giving support & Godly counsel as they navigate the ups & downs of their awkward relationship.

I always look forward to Sylvia Price's books, and have enjoyed the Rainbow Haven Beach series so far. I really like Beth as a character. I really like Beth as a character and have enjoyed following her and her daughter Lillie's sublplots.
Beth is strong and a fighter.

In the previous book, Beth struggled in the relationship with Lillie, her daughter. Now Beth is faced with the relationship she has with Sean. They both have a conversation in their minds about the other one questioning "Does she want me"/"Does he want me" to be more than just friends. When Sean's ex-wife shows up there is real Trouble for all of them. I can't wait for the final book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This story covers a frustrating see saw of emotions for B&B owner Beth concerning her boyfriend Sean. Their friendship sometimes seems to be developing into something more, but then swings back due to misunderstandings and lack of communication; so like many real lives! The arrival of his dreadful upsets everything even more. The way these issues are resolved is well handled, and makes for an enjoyable read. I received an ARC from the author, but my review is voluntary.
This is another great book in the Rainbow Haven Beach series. We are following struggles of Beth and Sean. We can see how hiding feelings because of fear can lead to misunderstanding and hurt. Can they find right way for true love? Or would they hide their feelings and suffer? you should check in this book. I enjoy reading this story because it's authentic as well as her protagonists. Everyone can experience similar situation.
This book, like all of the other books so far in this series is faith-filled - which is wonderful! This book included a wonderful reminder that faith gets us through and can guide us, but it doesn't always prevent us from getting angry and acting out. But, of course, faith also demands that we then apologize for our poor behavior.

Are men really that naïve? Afraid to share their feelings about how they really felt about each other, Sean and Beth struggle to maintain a relationship. Then Jennifer shows up! Jennifer is Sean’s ex-wife who cheated on him and then divorced him. Now things have changed for her and she’s back. Interesting to see what happens when they really listen and obey.
There's just enough conflict and sweet to keep the pages turning and make this a very enjoyable story. I like the storyline and has our main characters struggling and trying to manage their relationship. This has been quite an adventure and can't wait to see what the next book holds.

I feel like I have gotten to know and care for the characters in the Rainbow Haven Beach series but I was disappointed in their indecisiveness in this book. I hope the next book will let them trust their faith as they move forward. I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.
This is book 6 in the series and takes the story further along. Life is difficult and emotions come and go. Relationships can take many turns. All of this and more is portrayed in the characters. The author reminds the reader, though, that God is always besides us and that faith can help us find the way.
This series just keeps getting better and better. This book focuses on Sean and Beth's attraction for each other. I loved how they dealt with the trials that came about. The secondary story between Lillie and Ryan is interesting as well. I cannot wait for the next book in the series. Well written.

Finding Faith is the second chance romance between Beth and Sean as their relationship at the Bed and Breakfast grows from friendship to more. Sean’s ex-wife, however, returns with the intention of winning him back. This sixth book in the series is well written with a wonderful ending.

A series with a heartwarming story line that captures you and keeps you turning the pages. The story flows smoothly from page to page and has you feeling like you're living life with the characters. A great series you definitely want to have on your TBR list.

Beth Campbell has growing feels for Sean Pennington and they get closer. But when Sean’s ex-wife turns up she has to deal with a lot of emotions. A heart-warming read about love and faith. I received this book via booksprouts and leave a honest review. I recommend this book to other readers.

This series is great! There are a lot of secrets, fears, hesitation, and reluctance. But thank goodness there are also family and friends looking out for each other and talk sense into each other.
Beth is so relatable. I just wanted to be able to be in the story and encourage her to take the risk. I really enjoyed her story and decision on taking the jump with Sean.
I love going back to Rainbow Haven Beach. The main focus of this story is on Beth and Sean. Will their friendship turn into more?
Sean loves Beth but doesn't think she feels the same way. She loves him but is afraid to tell him for fear of rejection. You'll definitely want to read the book to see how their story ends.
I received a free ARC, and this is my honest opinion.
Christian multi couple interconnected series romance
Life continues and relationships start shifting past the point of pretending nothing is changing. Diamond for Lily? Kisses for Beth? An ex returns unexpectedly? What will they choose? Hang on to fear or let go and find Faith?.
I received an ARC free via Booksprout. Review voluntarily given.
