Imagine if Mother Russia wrote a book on American capitalism and its history back in its socialist heydays. This is the same book about communism by an American. Americans are honorable and noble, Russians are waylaid and will fins glorious torch of capitalism waiting for them at the end of Slavic Communism tunnel.

For how old this book is it is great at telling about the early years of communism in Russia, and how it came to be. I it informative and has great illustrations. I would recommend this book to high schoolers and higher. Me, being a 13 year old I could understand it very well, so older people could read it. I liked it ok.
