The empire is one of the development of the West, especially in the area of the natural resources of gold and mines and the possibilities brought by railroads. There is a lot of technical detail about the hero's occupation, but for anyone interested in daily life in the old days it will be fascinating. The hero is a true hero, plucky in danger and courageous for the right causes.
