In this world you come in on your feet but you leave out in a coffin. The Milano Family is known to be notorious, and Semaj has witnessed it firsthand, but when someone blows up the family car, leaving two close relatives dead, Semaj s world falls apart and she discovers the downside of a life of crime. After reuniting with her grandfather, Semaj thought her days of destruction were in her rearview mirror, but old demons have surfaced and she finds herself back on the hustle. Only this time, the stakes are much higher. Once Semaj takes over the lucrative drug operation, she steps up and changes the rules of the Family business, but when someone goes against the grain, things get out of hand. Honor is broken and disloyalty threatens to tear the family apart, and Semaj finds herself caught in a deadly web of hidden agendas, deceit and murder. With an enemy lurking and a mystery man in the shadows, it is up to him if Semaj lives or dies. This is the life of a Mafia Princess.
Mafia Princess 2, the sequel to Mafia Princess by Michelle Monay, does NOT disappoint! It picks up soon after the events of part one. Semaj has once again been forced to deal with tragedy, leaving her struggling to stay afloat. When she is met with an offer she simply can't refuse, she finds herself at the head of her family's drug operation. Unbeknowst to her, enemies lurk in the shawdows, each with their own agendas and plans of revenge. Mafia Princess 2 was a great read. Fast paced and thrilling, Michelle Monay has definitely earned a permenent spot on my list of favorite authors. Each character was well developed and felt as though they were real. The story had many twists and turns and the ending left me wanting part 3 immediately! 5 stars!
AHHHHHH!!!!! This book had my heart beating out of my chest!!!! The way the author began the book in present day then took us back to the very beginning to lead us back to present was nothing short of amazing!! If I could have given this book more than 5 stars I would have! Joy Deja King is undoubtedly an artist in her own right. I cannot wait to dive into part 3.
This one is no joke. It's got everything_ mystery, romance, drama and definitely some twists and turns. One thing puzzled me_( How could Samaj accept Quasim back with open arms after he had beaten her? That both a would have had to do some atonement! No Sweat
Good story and plot. Took the longest to read this particular book. I kept losing interest. It got better towards the end and it ended great. I’m about to start part 3 now! I hope it’s a faster and better read.
I’ve never read about such a dumb ass “boss bitch” whew Semaj be putting me through it. So many time i wanted to jump in the book and shake her naive ass 🤬🤬🤬 ..“Simple”like Paris puts it... sheesh 😒... but the book is good tho lol ... she’s just frustrating asf 🙄
Quasim kind of surprised me for a hot second, then I put 2 & 2 together and then my wish was granted due to Vega and his grimy ass(greed) started unnecessary drama with the Milano's and everybody else smdh literally.... Great Read
Ox and Paris needs to die already. Is Murder Mitch dead. Awww Qua is back nobody can't stay dead I. This book lol. Goo about to go crazy.OMG not Ox home Qua.
Good sequel to Mafia Princess. Semaj comes into her own. Losing her baby she uses that grief to become the new head of the Milano organization. Quasim is still alive. Which took the story to another level. I am assuming that there will be a Part 3 because there is no way we can't find out how Semaj and Quasim get out of this situation they are about to get into with OX. Can someone kill Paris already.
This book was better than the first. The Milano family is no joke! They absolutely play for keeps. I'm glad Qua & Semaj reconnected because they had a love like no other. I can't wait until Ox & Paris get their just due. Gio really loved his granddaughter, Semaj. He was heartbroken thinking she was dead. On to book 3.
OMG! This was such a page turner, I can't wait to start the 3rd book. Maj and her crew is some bad muthas...lol all of them! Them Milano Hitters, man I hope all works out with them, them heifers ain't no joke!
I enjoyed this better than part one. However, I do feel like this is similar to 3 of Ashley and jaquavis books : The cartel, supreme clientele, and the Prada plan .
