Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki Light Novel #10
Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki, Vol. 10
“IT’S GONNA TAKE MORE THAN THAT TO SAVE ME.”
March is here, and that means it’s almost Hinami’s birthday. Izumi plans a surprise party along with a trip to USJ in Osaka. As for the presents, it’s a team competition—whoever makes the birthday girl the happiest wins. Together with Mizusawa and Kikuchi, Tomozaki decides to re-create one of those old-school games she loves so much. Things may have changed between him and Hinami, and he doesn’t want to be the character she controls—but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to give up on her.

Bit of a slow start in the beginning but this volume finally finds its footing around the middle. Solid volume that finally expands more on Hinami’s character and just a fun and decent read overall. I do wish that the process of creating the gift was described more as I think it would make for an interesting read as a series with a slight focus on the gaming aspect but I understand prioritizing the characters more. Very nasty cliffhanger around the end though.
