Mallon, the elder who was responsible for Eli's kidnapping and torture, refuses to leave Eli alone, coming after him time and again. Can Jersey help Eli cope with his new life while keeping the ex-elder from coming after his mate, or will Jersey lose Eli to his insecurities and the crazy Mallon? ** A Siren Erotic Romance
Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
This was pretty decent. It did not exactly give me any thrills or flutters but the story was solid enough, given what I’ve already said about inconsistency and loss of focus regarding these books.
So yeah, this one turned out okay, highlighting some interesting aspects of a well trodden storyline. Eli’s reluctance to accept the vampire way of life, the fact that his homophobic father was not cruel or a jerk like they usually are (that or demons bent on killing and so on) but a good man and well-loved.
Eli’s struggles with his sexuality made a lot more sense than the versions I’ve recently encountered. He was genuinely concerned that his needs were inherently wrong and it was not merely a matter of coming out. It was a question of identity. One of the previous books in this mess had something alike but in that case we just had a hateful demon mother and a case of minor brainwashing, so the reality of this inner conflict was never even touched in any genuine way.
So yeah. This book got it right. :3 Even with the ending not having a pat, candy-covered solution, while still going into a hopeful direction .
Both protagonists were likeable enough. Again, no big surge of affection coming up on my side, but they kept me interested enough. Nice guys.
Fun fact: I’ve been hearing Eli’s Game playing in my mind the entire time while reading this. It’s actually not that far off either in some ways.
typical lynn hagen serial romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical lynn hagen? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.).
out of sheer laziness, i will be using this as my template for all books by : lynn hagen stormy glenn scarlett hyacinth carol lynne gabrielle evans
unless otherwise noted. i'd apologize, but i'm not sorry. i figure it's about as much time as they put into their books. dammit! well, i made it all the way to the end being rather moderate in my assessment. that's a win.
Surprisingly good read, especially since I hadn't read previous two books in series. I liked the combination of humor and vampire mythos. The romance is erotic and emotional, just the way I like it. This also contained strong secondary characters which will make be go back to read previous two books AND look forward to subsequent series books.
This book sounded so much better than it actually was. It was all over the place! And Eli and Jersey seemed more like friends with benefits than a mating relationship. There seemed to be no mate pull at all! The only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one is because Lynn Hagen is a great authorand there were no editing issues.
Well this was the thirs book I read in succession and they are beginning to get a little samey. This is Eli and Jersey's story. Eli was badly beaten by ghouls and Jersey saves him and claims him. Nothing new really.
Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are 121 books - yikes! I loved this Universe the first time I read it several years ago and now I love it more, I really do, but I've only been able to read these series (and I have expanded to all the books that are currently out in each): Brac Pack Christian's Coven Zeus's Pack Demon Warriors The Exiled
These are the series that start the Universe. Reading them in order is a must. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying story that plays out throughout them all. As you get towards the end of these series, other series come into play and I noticed that, since I did not read them, I missed some of the characters being mentioned (good and bad) but I was still able to follow because the main ones stay the same.
One day I WILL buy these and read them all!!! (For the correct order, just look on the Internet for Lynn Hagen Reading Order): Brac Village Shadow Tribe BPNG (Brac Pack Next Generation - Brac Pack kids) The Remus Brothers Wolves of Desire
Eli’s Way is another fun addition to the Lynn Hagen’s paranormal world. In this installment we are back to the politics of Christian’s Coven and dealing with the aftermath of the evil ex-elder Mallon. Eli was found beaten and hardly recognizable in Mallon’s lair and Jersey, a member of Christian’s Coven discovered Eli was his mate when Eli was brought to The Manacle for safe keeping.
As always there is drama involved when a human is changed with no knowledge of the paranormals around them. Eli literally wakes to a world he did not know existed and discovers that he is mated to Jersey and he is not even “out” in his normal life. What I like about this book as opposed to some others in this saga is that Eli’s father is open to continuing a relationship with his son after he finds out that Eli is gay. This continuation of family ties made me happy. The path isn’t easy, but at least communication is still open.
All and all, if you have become addicted to the writings of Lynn Hagen as I have, you will enjoy this installment. If you haven’t yet discovered this series, I would recommend you read the other books before this one, because there is a lot of back story that you will not know.

Eli wakes up to his mate,Jersey (half vampire half human), after being tortured by a powerful vampire and chewed on by ghouls. To save his life Christian (Prince) turns him. Eli takes a while to accept his fate and his mate but eventually he grows to love Jersey. I just love Vampires and this book definitely delivers. Eli also has to tell his homephobic father that he's gay which is something he struggles with along with the fact that he's now a vampire. This was pretty mesmerizing and I can't wait to bite :D into the next book of the series.
This was another great book I Loved it the first time I read it and I Loved it this time and I'm sorry I didn't write a review the first time I didn't know about the review when I first started reading books on Amazon but I'm trying to go back and re-read all the old books on my kindle and write the review so ty Lynn Hagen for writing great books for me to read.
Eli is another who blows hot and cold and I felt for Jersey. Overall typical of the series, we get more of the over reaching story while we see these two come together.
In this one, we meets Jersey (Buc's little brother) and his mate (the man who was attack in the previous book) Eli. Juntos deben aorender a comunicarse y amarse, además de atrapar a unos cuantos imbéciles creídos por ek camino.
