The Orchard - 5 stars - Love this new author, I will definitely be reading more of his books! Worth Dying For - 4 stars - Another good Jack Reacher book! How To Bake A Perfect Life - 0 stars - Not going to read. The book starts out with a call to her daughter telling her that her husband, who is stationed in Afghanistan, has been badly burned from a roadside IED. That hit a bit too close to home, not a book I would enjoy at this time. On Borrowed Time - 5 stars - Another great new author discovered, that is what I love about Reader's Digest! This was a great book, very suspenseful and intriguing. I have already reserved a copy of the first book in his Andy Carpenter series at the library.
Read The Orchard - it was good, not great but good enough to finish. Read How to Bake a Perfect Life - same. Read On Borrowed Time - it was quite good - kept me reading when I was supposed to be getting ready to go out! Won't read Lee Child's - don't like Reacher stories.
Not really a big fan of super books (more than one book between the covers) but this one was surprisingly good with more intrigue than sappy love story fluff.
