Samantha is a young shewolf at the blue ridge mountain pack. She hasn't had it easy her whole life between being bullied, belittled, and underestimated. She is the betas daughter and a twin at that. After finding out how people close to her truly feel she decides to leave. Will she ever find someone who cares?
Kasen is the young alpha king. He has been hurt and betrayed before. Ruling a kingdom isn't easy especially at 21. Will he find the one that the goddess made for him? What if his mate is just as hurt and broken as he is?
This book is written like your typical pay per chapter books. It has a lot of typos and spelling mistakes. Basically the FL runs away thinking no one wants her or likes her, meets her mate who is also the king, he doesn’t want her, then does, everything is forgiven, the bears want to destroy the kingdom, she is some amazing wolf who is connected to the goddess and is part of a prophecy to help them win the war. I liked the FL at the start of the book but didn’t by the end. I never liked the ML. There is a lot of wasted storyline’s that go no where and whatever drama they are supposed to bring fizzles out before it begins. The king sleeps around a lot, she is bullied and is on the run for two years, the brother betrays the king, all sorted and forgiven in respective paragraphs. And there is a lot of wasted dialogue, all about how amazing she is and ‘we love mate’ and how well suited they are together, and a lot of repeating the same thing as someone new enters the conversation. It all felt like trying to pad out the book.
She is being bullied by the toughest female wolf. She is a crybaby, but tough. She ran away on her 18th birthday, feeling sorry for herself; her brother calls her names, even though she is stronger than her. Everyone hates her, even though she is so sweet. She is put on a pedestal as she is so intelligent, more so than a king that has studied his entire life to be king.
Make them grow and become tough, not automatically the toughest in the whole wolf community just by breathing. If they are tough, don't make them whiny cry babies.

This is a good book. The title of the book should be queen as that’s what she is. Outside of some grammar issues this book will have your attention and rooting for Sam and the Kasen to have their HEA with everything that’s going on.
