Don't throw out those papers! Someone could use them. Don't throw out that cardboard, we can build something with it. Don't toss jars, someone might make jam again.
Next thing you know, there's piles of old medical magazines in the basement.
Your departed pets are trapped under piles of refuse that might be useful one day.
Amanda Wood has fabulous illustrations in this book. The book is smaller in size however she does a great job utilizing the size she is given. It looks as if Wood used watercolors and pencil to complete her illustrations. The illustrations are very energetic which makes it easier for the child to follow along because they are more focused at what is going on. Wood is able to make the pictures big enough for a child laugh at what is going on in the background, like a student making “googly eyes” behind the teachers back! The text is black and bold placed on the open white spaces located at the top of the pages.
