It was very hard to follow, the POV's changed without warning. Sometimes it would take a few paragraphs to realize who the POV was from. I did enjoy the story with all the characters especially my favorites Andre and Burke.

Jules Deveraux is looking forward to his Christmas Wedding to Angel. He loves challenging his brothers and cousin to race downhill on ski and getting the best baby gift as well. Alot has happened in a short amount of time yet everyone is extremely happy. The entire Deveraux pack wouldn't change their closeness for anything in the world.

This book is an intimate look inside the Deveraux Pack. This is definitely a really short book. It's an enjoyable read as well as fast. Please check out the author's other books in this series. All of your questions are answered in A Cajun Werewolf Christmas.

This was only 31 pages on a nook.

I LOVED this little book! I want to read all of the books that go with this. There was enough information on this whole pack that it drew me in.

They are all together at a brothers house for Christmas, a wedding the birth of a baby. They're all so sweet and fun I just can't wait to read the others!

I did get confused bu who was mated to who and who was who when they used just the names, but it wasn't enough to make it distracting.

Liked it

This mostly sweet novella wraps up the Devereaux clan's tales. Newly mated, the couples embark on the next chapter in their lives - parenthood. Hopefully the men will learn to stop acting like kids long enough to raise their families. A good ending to the series but the editing could have been much better.

Sweet, sweet happy endings!

This has been a wonderful series and it's only appropriate that it end with a wedding and a birth. Christmas in the mountains surrounded by snow is the perfect backdrop for wrapping up all of these romantic adventures and starting their happily ever afters :)

You need to have read the entire series first before reading this or you will be missing out.
Though I begrudged paying for something with so few pages, I had to have it as I love rereading this series and needed to have this final get together and read about the madcap antics of this group.

Love shifters books and this book is no exception. This is my first book by this author, but I will be getting more. It was light, funny, well written, and kept your interest. The characters were amazing

Lovely read

A lovely little story full of heart warming moments and sweet romantic times. I hadn't read the rest of the series before reading this but you don't really need to as it's more like an epilogue.

This short Christmas novella deals with the five werewolf Deveraux brothers and cousins. Although I haven’t read the previous five books, the author gives enough info on the main five couples throughout the novella to inform the reader of whom everyone is and the basic overview of how the couples met and fell in love.
Jules and Angel are getting married. They’re staying with Burke and Kendal for Christmas and getting married at their home. Sebastian and Amanda, the pack alpha and luna, are expecting their first child which is due any day now. Laurent and Violet are there, along with Andre and Juliette. I enjoyed watching the interaction between the pack members, the men with each other and with their mates, and found this story to be very sweet and heartwarming.
I’m definitely interested in checking out the previous books and the later ones in the series if there are any.

Although I enjoyed the story overall, I had a difficult time reading through it. The story jumps from one person’s point of view to another, then another, with no warning. It was hard to keep up with whose point of view I was reading from and found myself re-reading a good portion of the book trying to make sense of it.

I think I would have loved this story more if: (1) there was some distinction between the switching from character to character and scene to scene; (2) I think this book needed divided into chapters, there is not chapter references at all.
On a positive note. . . this was a perfect ending for this series. I loved getting a chance to see all the couples together and the relationships of all the women. It was a wonderful read and I loved the final peek into the Deveraux pack's life. Even with the "issues" I mentioned, it was still a good read.

Often when an author has a popular series they will write add-on novellas to give a little extra insight to the characters or sometimes as a seasonal extra.
This book is a Christmas special for the Cajun Werewolf series.
Obviously if you haven't read any previous books this might be a little overkill. If you have read and enjoyed them then it will be just the right kind of short treat, whilst waiting for the next full length novel.
I don't read a lot of supernatural books with strong romantic plots and happy endings. I tend to go for the more gritty urban read.
However this was really sweet, it will probably melt the icicles surrounding the heart of a Scrooge or two.
If you enjoy a happy romantic read that leaves you yearning for a log fire and a sense of warmth, then this might be right up your alley.

This book is about a pack of werewolves living a life as humans. The guys in the family are running a competition with each other to see who comes up with the best baby gift. There is also an upcoming family wedding to take place. Now as for the little cub's due date it is not due for a while. But will it show up and spoil the wedding plans and make christmas extra special for the family. Time will tell.
Ms Blake has the scenes down to every detail and description. As for the characters- well they are very well defined, each have depth an character in them. YOu can see each of them, along with the scenes. I look forward to reading more of Ms Blake's books. I recommend this book for everyone , especially those that love to read paranormal romance. The rating of this book is 20 out of 5 stars. Now GO GET IT ON AMAZON!!!

I got this as a free download, so I can’t complain I was overcharged. If you are a fan of this author and this series, this is probably a lovely present tied up with a bow. If, like me, you downloaded this story to decide whether or not you wanted to buy other books in the series, you are probably scratching your head. (Hopefully not with your hind leg.)

There’s a pack of werewolves, a vampire?, a coyote, somebody is having a baby, somebody else is about to get married, there’s competition over skiing and over buying the perfect baby present. There’s trees, snow, cookies - all the traditional holiday adornments. There’s just not enough story here, or character development, to connect to any of the characters.

Probably I should have read the other books in this series before this, because it's really just an epilogue. It's hard to keep everyone straight without reading their personal stories.

It is nice and Christmassy, and I enjoyed the present betting game - overgrown boys can be such fun in groups. :) I liked the characters enough that I might check out the longer books in the series and see what they're like in full.

I wasn't overly thrilled with the narration - although it's written in third person, it jumps from one POV to another, without any dividing markers, and I couldn't keep track of whose thoughts I was hearing.

All in all, not bad. As an epilogue, I might rate it higher when (if) I've read the rest of the books.
