Toys for Good Girls
Tanty -- better known as Vixen, one of Santa's shape-shifting reindeer -- loves toys. Grown-up toys. Sex with men is great, but toys go when you want them to go and don't stop until you say stop. No muss, no fuss, and all fun.
Bok buys toys. Not only toys for good little human girls and boys, but also sex toys for elves who make a request. If it tickles, wiggles, thrusts, licks, or tingles then Bok's the elf to see for purchasing that perfect personal treasure.
What Bok wants most of all is to provide Tanty with everything she needs, toys and all, but he doesn't think the feistiest of the reindeer will be interested in playing with him, an overweight computer nerd. Tanty wouldn't have thought so either, but by golly Bok and his goodies start to jingle her bells. No matter how much fun a toy is, it doesn't cuddle at night or kiss you good morning.

Considering I generally prefer m/m books - I actually enjoyed this entry to the Reindeer Games series most of the three. I think it was the abundance of toys. . . yep, it was definitely the toys! Bok was sweet, especially in his misguided views of what Tanty wanted in a mate. But the sex was unbelievably hot. I loved it.

‘Toys for Good Girls’ is book two in Jet Mykles’ delightful series, ‘Reindeer Games’. I mean, seriously people, who doesn’t love a little naughty toys…..or, big ones? *grins* I love this world the author has created where the nine reindeer who pull Santa’s sleigh are, in fact, shape shifting elves, and some are women.
Tanty is, none other than, Vixen, and Bok thinks she’s the most beautiful elf he’s ever seen. Bok is a short, chubby, computer nerd, who works in acquisitions, getting presents for the human children. But, he also specializes in finding, and getting, all manner of sex toys that any lusty elf might want. And, Tanty, is a very loyal customer. She loves toys, because, frankly, when Tanty has come, she wants it over. She doesn’t want to have to stroke her partner’s ego while he tries to woo her with his stamina. Unfortunately, for Tanty, most elves think stamina is the most important, whereas Tanty would much rather have a number of quickies throughout the night. The other male elves would consider her toys foreplay, only, and wouldn’t want to play with her.
Bok doesn’t have those issues, although he’s got plenty of insecurities. He can’t believe it when he spends a whole night playing with Tanty and her toys. Bok figures she’s just being nice, and he doesn’t want to embarrass her in front of her friends, so he disappears. Bok assumes his overweight, out of shape self, next to all the sleek reindeer, has Tanty feeling sorry for him, and he decides to take matters into his own hands. Silly elf. Silly man. Tanty is a strong female, who can make up her own mind, stand her own ground, and handle her own battles. Bok has no idea what’s getting ready to hit him.
An absolutely adorable, and very lusty, addition to the series. This is a short read, with a lovely happy ever after. Great job, Jet. Thank you!!

Cute short story about Bok, an elf who works in Acquisitions, and Tanty aka Vixen, who is one of the reindeer elves. Bok has a reputation for acquiring adult toys and Tanty is known for her love of such things.
Bok has self esteem issues, he's a little rounder than most male elves and sees himself as a lesser. Tanty, on the other hand, sees beneath the insecurities to the solid elf that lurks below.
I really enjoyed this installment of the reindeer games and can't wait for the next book in the series.

I surprised myself by being willing to return and read a m/f story, but this world was just so fun in #1. Plus, toys. And it was cute.
My favorite thing in this one was the way they curse. It's all Christmas-themed, and frequently hilarious.
Some Favorite Quotes:
True, modern-day skepticism had threatened, but the elves continued to live on the hope and magic that parents instilled in their young children.
"You read wrong. Deck the flocking halls and sleigh bells ring!" Rather than hit him again, she took another fuming circle around the room.
"But we just started. Give me a chance to get used to you before we try it without the toys, huh?" She winked.

Cute, hot, fun -- I like how she handled having an imperfect MC and how lovely the other MC was about loving him for who he is, not what he looks like!

I don't like how Tandy noticed that he's not as good looking as the reindeer and almost had to argue with herself about how he was perfectly attractive and how she almost found herself hiding who she was with although fortunately she immediately saw that as silly. It's realistic I guess but I wanted her to just find him attractive and not be so aware of how he was not as fit and therefore not as hot as other elves. She was great by the end but it was written as if she'd always been awesome about it and I'm not sure she had been.
This was mostly sex and it wasn't really doing anything for me. Their relationship is really just based on the sex toys she can get from him and use with him and started because he was willing to take a backseat to the toys. I really hated how she equated him with a sex toy. They exchange I love yous at the end but it just felt like window dressing.
Head hopping. I'd rather just be in his head.
Why were there only eight stalls when there were nine reindeer?
God I hate the word pussy.

A focus of this story is body image. Bok is a fat little elf who loves lithe and athletic Tanty. Bok fears that he is not worthy of Tanty’s love or even admiration because of his body. What Bok does have to offer her is access to online adult toy sites where he buys all kinds of sex toys and devices for Tanty.
