After Napoleon III seized power in 1851, French writer Victor Marie Hugo went into exile and in 1870 returned to France; his novels include The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1831) and Les Misérables (1862).

This poet, playwright, novelist, dramatist, essayist, visual artist, statesman, and perhaps the most influential, important exponent of the Romantic movement in France, campaigned for human rights. People in France regard him as one of greatest poets of that country and know him better abroad.

Amy Robsart — Très confus autant au niveau du ton que de la structure, je trouve. Mais la langue d'Hugo est toujours bonne et l'histoire prenante.
Marion De Lorme — La fin m'a laissé une impression un peu bizarre mais je suppose que son pathétique convient à la pièce. À part ça, je ne crois pas avoir grand-chose à dire aha.
Hernani — Excellent. Super drama. Les déclarations d'amour emo sont 👌, j'en perds les mots. Un peu refroidi pour les retournements de situation qui s'enchaînent un peu trop à la fin mais ça reste top.
Le roi s'amuse — Je sais pas, j'ai rien de très concret à reprocher à cette pièce, j'ai juste pas réussi à m'intéresser au truc. Bonne fin par contre.
