Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
This was book 24 in the " Brac Pack" series. I love this series and with so many books in a series there is usually one or two books in it that I don't like but with this series I find that I like all of the books. This book was about each couple at Christmas time along with Maverick giving pack members part in a play. An elf is playing with the mates in someway or in a feel of them making them believe in something or someone. My favorite one was the story about Lewis the cop who is also an alcoholic and looking back at his past. Turns out the elf was someone's mate and Maverick doesn't like it. The Lakeland's were also invited to the play and a new character to the series and his mate who is confused. This was a really good book. I love reading this series. This book was well written with no errors in spelling or grammar. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series. Pa Lakeland.
A Brac Pack Crazy Family Christmas is the twenty-fourth of the Brac Pack stories, but it’s actually thirty-fifth in the greater story arc that Ms. Hagen has created. In many ways this story is a Christmas gift to the readers and fans of the Brac Pack saga. We get to catch up with old friends, learn a little more about the babies and see everyone interacting as one big, large, dysfunctional, lovable pack! The two factors that push this story forward are a prankster “elf” and Alpha Maverick’s desire to put on a Christmas pageant for the kiddos. Each couple gets their own chapter and set of stumbling blocks. In the end, there’s a new twist on an old favorite Christmas story, we find out some fun news about a new pairing, meet another new potential pack member and the Christmas pageant is HILARIOUS! If you love these characters as much as I do, you’ll enjoy this installment.
Loved it!!! It's a very Cute, Funny, light, Silly at times Fun Holiday story. It was nice to revisit All the couples in this one. While there a lot of sex it didn't really seem like it me because we visit Each couple and they have a sex scene. So it's diff each time. I have to agree with another review that if you like this series you might really enjoy this.
This gets a 3 stars from me despite feeling like I am drowning in orgies as I really enjoyed that hilarious ad-libbed nativity play set-up by that 'pot-smoking' alpha, Maverick. Snorts. Who would thought of that cool entrance by the three wise men?
This series have a bit of daddy-kink to it since the shifters are all large alpha males with smallish mates. The mates behaves like little kids around the wolves. And the wolves would chastise them like how a daddy would, then takes control and fawn over them like love sick puppies.
I did liked such dynamics as I have a thing for large males dominating over smaller males. In fact, there are parts in here where the smaller mates taking their wolves was a turn off for me.
I bet the Den smells like sex everyday. These wolves sure provides great business for the Brac Town's laundry services. The wolves and mates kept jumping each other at every opportunity. It was especially true with this book. In view of the fact that they are all doing it under the very same roof, it is almost like an orgy.
In A Brac Pack Crazy Family Christmas, the mates are behaving quite well and the one creating unrest and taking up the prankster role this time was an outsider instead Cecil of the famous uncontrollable bratty mate. This mysterious prankster's mischievous games nearly drove the mates crazy!
Overall it was entertaining in some parts but I was mainly bored due to the oversexing. Besides that, Ms. Hagen's effort to feature all of the Brac pack wolves with their respective mates in one book was a little tiresome to read because it felt repetitive with the recycling of plots for each pair. I also didn't like the ending where a dwarf turns into a handsome prince out of a sudden.
Funny and cute, this book made me laugh. It was great to see all the Brac Pack couples together, attempting to get organized for Christmas. Luckily for me, they didn't quite manage and the ensuing chaos was truly hilarious. There is a chapter about each of the couples, and reading this book feels like visiting with them, seeing what they're up to now that they've been together for a while.
There are a couple of threads that lead through the visits with each couple: one is Maverick's harebrained idea to have them put on a nativity play. A bunch of paranormals re-enacting the birth of Jesus? Absolute genius! The other thread is a mischievous elf causing mayhem by being naughty; he finds his just reward at the end though.
If you haven't read all the other books, I'd suggest you read them first. If you have followed and liked this series, I am sure you will love this instalment - it is great fun, has some very hot sex scenes and is like visiting a bunch of old friends. I definitely enjoyed it a lot.
This is one of my favorites!! Not only do you get a peek at the entire cast of characters' lives, you get an amazing Nativity scene, a mischievous elf, and a bunch of pranked mates. This book made me laugh so hard I had to stop reading because I couldn't see the screen of my computer (I laughed so hard I was crying). If you have read all the previous books, you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO read this book. (: (: (: (: (:
I think this one was the best one yet. We got to see all the couples again as well as see Melonee's future mate. The play was freaking hilarious. I laughed out loud so many times while reading this. It was truly great! There isn't a plot in this one but I think that's the way the author planned it. If you like this series, you will love this one.
1.5 estrellas Se que es de relleno o para rascarle un poco más a los personajes que ya tuvieron sus historias pero no me ha gustado, salvo el final tal vez con melonee y ruttford.
There is no joy in this. It’s just mean-spirited. In fact, it is getting progressively worse with each chapter.
So the author ruined the entire universe she created for these series just for this awful volume? And yes, she did ruin it. Having Santa and a Christmas elf and fucking Rudolph appear like that and being all-powerful simply destroyed any good feeling I might have had. These series with their increasing angst feature slaughter, war, drugs and abuse and a multitude of supernatural beings as well as at least two realms. There’s a sort of system to it and, inconsistencies and retcons notwithstanding, it kind of makes sense. But if we have Santa and his people here, obviously capable of pretty much anything they feel like, to the point where they could actually help the ones suffering and end the fucking war and whatnot, but they instead use their powers for cruel pranks, I get mad. And I am not even just referring to that obnoxious elf. The very presence of someone like Nick in this universe ruins its core concept.
Suddenly I fully understand exactly why Linkara was so enraged with the Watchers in that Christmas review. This just fucking annihilates everything that might have been good about these series. WTF.
This entire book sucked already because it features each couple for one chapter, all in a row, and they all get to have their sex scene. Yawn. Waste of space and time.
Adding insult to injury it turns out . So we can’t even pretend none of this ever happened.
Well, I delved into the Bracverse a 2nd time and now there are 121 books - yikes! I loved this Universe the first time I read it several years ago and now I love it more, I really do, but I've only been able to read these series (and I have expanded to all the books that are currently out in each): Brac Pack Christian's Coven Zeus's Pack Demon Warriors The Exiled
These are the series that start the Universe. Reading them in order is a must. Each book has it's own love story but there is an underlying story that plays out throughout them all. As you get towards the end of these series, other series come into play and I noticed that, since I did not read them, I missed some of the characters being mentioned (good and bad) but I was still able to follow because the main ones stay the same.
One day I WILL buy these and read them all!!! (For the correct order, just look on the Internet for Lynn Hagen Reading Order): Brac Village Shadow Tribe BPNG (Brac Pack Next Generation - Brac Pack kids) The Remus Brothers Wolves of Desire
typical lynn hagen serial romance. nothing fantastic, nothing so bad it can't be finished. what is typical lynn hagen? imagine a shorter harlequin romance but with no t&a (see, i was going to write no surprise pregnancies, but... yeah.).
out of sheer laziness, i will be using this as my template for all books by : lynn hagen stormy glenn scarlett hyacinth carol lynne gabrielle evans
unless otherwise noted. i'd apologize, but i'm not sorry. i figure it's about as much time as they put into their books. dammit! well, i made it all the way to the end being rather moderate in my assessment. that's a win.
What happens when you take every character in a series and get them all together for the holidays... this book. All of the couples from the previous books come together for the holidays with hilariousness and lots of hot sex. Now, add in Maverick wanting to do a Christmas play for the kids and handing out parts to unsuspecting people, then add in an elf who feels the need to create even more havoc. Then, throw in a big surprise... what an adventure this book became. I enjoyed reading about all of the couples and where they were at the time of the story, but there were times when I wanted to say 'enough, just give me the hot sex'. :D

Jajajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaajajajajajajaaja Maverick esta L O C O! pero como me encanta! Ame su obra navideña jajajajaajaja. Me encanto tener otro pedacito de las demas parejas; es que son taaaaan adorables!:3
Mostly I felt this book was a waste of time.. It was just an excuse to continue writing sex scenes. There was the potential for a sweet christmas story to be written but mostly just sex, sex and more sex and they weren't that creative or even notably romantic.
This was an odd one. You got a glimpse of the original Brac pairings, interspersed with the shenanigans of Ruttford, the Elf pranking them (an act he'll live to regret).
The final Nativity play is a kind of crack only Maverick Brac could dream up...
