This book contains complete step-by-step instructions for stitching all of the basic Hardanger stitches. Included is (Basic) information needed for the beginner, as well as additional material (Beyond) to help the advanced stitcher perfect his/ her technique. The steps are written in regular type and notes are written in italics. Notes give additional information that is not necessary for making the stitch but define terms, help make the stitch perfect, give explanations etc. There are over 200 computer generated figures and graphs. You can create six lacey sachets while practicing and perfecting the stitches.
