Georgina Brazen is hiking along a trail that skirts the lake and finds a man staring out over the water. He’s tall and ruggedly handsome, and she finds herself compelled to introduce herself. After all, she figures if you’re wondering what a man looks like naked, you should know his name. He turns to face her. From his stance and the frown on his face, anybody would have thought he was angry, but Georgie focuses on the sadness in his eyes. Ending up in his arms was the last thing she expected to happen.
Tyler Lucas likes being alone. It’s safer that way. However, there are times when he wouldn’t mind a little interaction. Like with this "babe in the woods" staring at him. He could get lost in her. He watches her look him over, waiting for her to turn and leave, but she just smiles and introduces herself.
I live in Massachusetts. My husband and I have been married for what seems like forever sometimes. I have three great kids, a beautiful granddaughter, and two crazy dogs. When I’m not totally caught up in getting my characters and scenes fleshed out I can usually be found with my nose stuck in a book, or snuggled up on the couch watching a movie.
Another fun Brazen book. It was Georgia’s turn at finding love this time around. I really liked the guy she found, and find him she did. One morning while she was helping a friend train his tracking dogs she finds tall, strong and handsome in the wood she is running around in. Not one to just let an opportunity pass her by she takes the time to introduce herself to one of the newer men working at her family lodge.
Tyler was an interesting male to read for this series. He brought a little baggage to the table. His baggage that he was determined to keep secret has kept him from allowing anyone to get close to him. I liked how the Brazen women handled him and his baggage. Georgie was a good match for Tyler.
Thus far I have enjoyed how each of the Brazen women handled the interestingly different trails that their man has brought to them. These sisters can handle anything (any man) thrown at them with an efficiency that only they could handle in the manner in which they do. I can’t wait for the next book. Sawyer has done a hefty amount of build up for Bobbie’s book. All five books have shown Bobbie and Jake’s tension coming to an explosive point.
