Author S.E. Schlosser has been telling stories since she was a child, when games of "let's pretend" quickly built themselves into full-length stories. A graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature and Rutgers University, she also created and maintains the website AmericanFolklore.net, where she shares a wealth of stories from all 50 states, some dating back to the origins of America.

Spooky! But with a lot of grammatical mistakes...

3.5 stars. I liked the variety, there was certainly something for everyone and a lot of Canada was covered. Even had some of my favourites I was already familiar with. What I didn't like was the choice to write some of the retellings in first person. Third person works best when telling a ghost story that been passed down the ages. First person just failed to carry impact and legendary status of the stories.
