It is the story of a survivor, a world leader.JAICO’S CREATIVE COMPANIES SERIES explores how today’s great companies operate and inspires young readers to become the entrepreneurs and businessmen of tomorrow.

An interesting read for sure. I got to know a lot about Coca-Cola through this book - from its humble beginning to becoming one of the very few companies with such a deep market penetration. I am now inclined to believe that more than a soft drink company, coca cola is a marketing company. They have had just so many successful campaigns in their lifetime. I also got to know about the role it played during the world war, and also how the war immensely benefitted it. The only thing I would have liked to see more of was its rivalry with Pepsi. The author touched on it, but it would have been great if we could have gotten more detail.
Coco cola has always been my choice beverage, and when I came across the book in kindle I could not resist knowing more about the brand. This book is very informative and engaging at the same time. If you want to know about the birth of coco cola, controversies over time and their ad campaigns, this can be a great read for you. Enjoy :)
A quick read on the history of the company and the advertising machine it has come to be. Book could have attempted to deep dive into other acquisitions and challenges. Some other topics to explore include Pepsi diversified successfully with Fritolay but same is not true for Coke.
A charming short read on the origin of the Coca-Cola company. I would suggest this book to anyone who wishes to know more about how it originated from a humble pharmacist to become a mammoth company.
This short nonfiction work does a good job summarizing the history of the Coca Cola company. The writing is straight forward and the photographs are visually appealing. The information contained in the book would be useful for a general history of the company.
It does have lots of interesting information about the history of the company. Like, for example, how one of Coke's ad campaigns is responsible for our current cultural image of Santa Claus. Who knew?
A useful source for middle and lower level high school classes. Could be a useful book for students reading Chew on This looking for supplemental information on the company. The book focuses on the business of the company and does not cover in any depth the health concerns or criticism of the company.
This would be a great book for teaching students about how advertising, cross promotion, slogans, logos and marketing can propel a product/company into greatness. It's amazing to learn how much of an impact Coca Cola has had on American History; from little mom-and-pop soda fountains, through American wars, the depression, and internationally.
This is an interesting book. I know what the company is like now, but it was so different when it was first starting. It is very engaging, and is filled with information about its owners, marketing, and advertising. The pictures put you in the time that is being discussed at the moment. All of this makes for a good and short read.
I completed the book in some 25, 30 minutes. It summed up the origin and history pf our beloved beverage, Coca-cola really well. It's an amazing book to teach children about the drink and other marketing strategies. Overall it gives good knowledge on the Coca-Cola company and its legacy.
Good book.... worth reading thank you amazon for kindle unlimited ....Learnt many interesting facts about the company.....Nice experience everyone should read it
Some say this is a must-read for marketers, but to be honest, it's a fun read for anyone. It's short and to the point. It makes you wonder in awe at the global marvel that is Coca Cola. The book doesn't focus on the minute details of the corporate's structure or its legalities, but instead, it touches base on the most popular marketing stunts of the brand. The book also includes some of Coca Cola's ad copies through the ages. Interesting.
