It also touches on electronic chart display and information system (ECDIS), dangerous goods at sea (IMDG) labels in colour and EU classification labelling. The helpful colour diagrams showing the correct way to connect hydrostatic release units (HRUs) has been retained. Some older pictures and diagrams have been kept for historical reasons or to enable comparison with modern counter-parts.
